Is the text smaller than on vBulletin? It seems to be when I view the site on my iPhone.

Yeah on iPhone it is. It'll be better in XenForo 1.2 but I may look at doing a makeshift fix in the mean time.

A good way to search while it's down, by the way is to just type the name of the thread into google followed by Redcafe. Should be one of the first results.

"site:redcafe.net Question Time" will return the QT thread in the CE as one of the first results

  • Again on avatars - the default XenForo style makes extensive use of avatars, but the no avatar policy hasn't changed on this site. This red themed, redcafe style, has been modified to remove avatars from all templates but I may have missed a few. So if you see a little grey box with a question mark in it, that's a placeholder avatar. Please let me know if you come across one of these so I can remove it.

When you hover on a thread topic a little preview appears with the avatar placeholder in it too.

Looks like you've updated the bg-color of the posts to gray. Looks good and much less strain on the eyes!

Also, on the forum list page, there is a bit of white space below the breadcrumbs (where it says "Redcafe.net" in black). There's also a bit of space beneath the sidebar module that lists online users on the same page.

Is the search thread function disabled?

Also, im having an annoying problem when trying to quote people. When I start writing my reply under the quoted post, my cursor keeps jumping into the quote and messes up all the code for the quote. Not sure if this is limited to just my phone though, as thats mainly where im posting from.

It seems so as I can't find it. As a workaround you can use google with "site:redcafe.net" along with your search term.

Using your phones browser? Try using Tapatalk app. it's much easier.

The thread title will be updated when it's back I think.

Van der Sar's saved it... United again!
I rebooted my router like someone suggested in another thread, but the forum pages still take ages to load (sometimes they don't load at all) and quoting doesn't always work. Someone else still experiencing these problems? I tried it also with Opera (usually I'm using Firefox) but it doesn't help.

For some reason when I replied to a post, the font size changed. It seems like was injected in the post. I know this because it happened before and when I clicked on edit it showed around my post. However this time I can't see the BBCode.

Edit: Even this post font got changed.

Edit: Fixed thanks to Silva explanation:
on the font thing, if you go to edit it, click the BB Code Editor (the little A on the top right corner) and give rid of the [size] code, it'll change it to average text.

Not sure if it's just me, but thread titles are disappearing all over. I'm just being left with the blue bullet point and the name of the OP underneath, but no thread title or link.

Really? Sounds odd. Try clearing your cache? If that doesn't work, can you try in a different browser?

its just you

sounds cool though. It would be great, like a russian roulette but with threads. Do you open a good one or a crap one?

The search bar overlaps the black banner and looks out of place. I know it's probably meant to be in that 'space' but it doesn't quite look right IMO. Would prefer it if it was positioned how it was on the old RedCafe.

Cheers in advance for sorting this out Niall.

Xenforo is so sleek, I've already forgotten the old forum ever existed.

Sometimes, with certain formats, pushing "enter" won't bring me down a line. However pushing "Shift Enter", or removing the formatting solves the problem. At the moment I cant find a font that recreates this though, strangely.

I get read of the stupid fonts that are brought in from copy and paste anyway, but its a bit weird.

I'd agree with this. It looks out of place. Thanks for the great new site Niall
