Benzema has been great today.
Been great most of the season from what I've seen. Think people were crazy if they thought Real Madrid should have replaced him in the summer, I think he's brilliant.

Arbeloa, Illarra and Khedira are so on another level than the first 11. This Madrid team really is good to watch. Could've scored a couple more today, Marcelo and Carvajal should've scored.

Madrid are keeping a lot of clean sheets recently and seem to have found defensive stability three months earlier than they did last season. Credit to Ancelotti for that. Like against Liverpool and Barca, the defenders dealt very well with one on one situations in the few moments they were exposed. Hopefully this form, hunger and desire can be kept up as so far it has been reminiscent of the 11/12 season in that regard.

Well there's one. Griezmann with it. Not watching though so no idea if it was good.

Been playing very well all season - 15 games, 9 goals, 6 assists. He gets a rough ride by some fans but I think he's massively important to Real, quite happy to play a supporting role in the side. His Champions League record is very impressive too. Ronaldo and Messi may take Raul's record soon, but Benzema's goals to game ratio isn't far off either of them.

Messi! Three chances in about five minutes. First one a great save, second one a good clearance from the defender (though he should have scored), third one should be hitting the target with that header.

In the last handful of matches i've never seen him miss so many easy chances. He should be on at least 17-18 goals now.

Messi and Neymar should have scored their headers in the first half tbh. Suarez looking a bit tentative but that cross for Messi's header was brilliant. Still early days but he needs to be more assertive and be more selfish even, he keeps on going for the cut-backs when he has a great shot on him. The commentator keeps on banging about it as well . Also made an interesting point on how La Masia hasn't produced too many quality defenders but Barca keep on spending on the wrong areas, the attack basically.

Oh Celta scores...

Busquets and Rafinha off for Pedro and Xavi.

Barca need a goal.... so Messi's moved into midfield. lol.

EDIT - Three at the back. Mascherano finally in his best position.

BArca are a mess. Didn't think I'd say this but their midfield is poor.

Barca had plenty of chances and it's amazing that 3 of the best forwards in the world couldn't score one. Still enough time to turn it around.

Is Messi doing it in training or is he Ronaldinho circa 2008 now?

We'll never know cause he controls the team not Luis Enrique and he won't drop himself even if he can't be arsed.

This messi can't be arsed seems to have become a caf myth now. He's always involved building attacks and either trying to create or score.

He isn't that bad, but there's indeed a can't be arsed enough aura about him.

Non existant midfield, strike force who want all the glory for themselves, stale tactics, poor defence, still fielding players who're well past their best.

They're in just as bad a position they were back in 2008, and clearly Luis Enrique isn't the right man for them either.

If he controls the team he should revert back to when the team played through him all the time.

Well done Celta, thoroughly deserved. Luis Enrique looks like a deer in headlights.

And within the space of a week, Madrid(s) are right back in it.

Messi wasn't bad, Neymar on the other hand...
