not RAWK, apparently Rogers' start shadows Sir Alex..buying young average players > having 250m in the bank

So buying all of Bruce, Anderson, McClair, Leighton Webb, Phelan, Pallister, Wallace, Ince and Hughes was just developing youth and using an aging squad? Cantona who was key to bringing United to prominence was also brought through the Academy? This is nonsense.

Also what? Lambert was a PR move, and every other player that you listed is 25 or even younger. Rodgers has done a lot for bringing in and trying to develop youth. All of these players were signed under Rodgers:

Fabio Borini (21), Joe Allen (22), Oussama Assaidi (24), Samed Yesil (18), Daniel Sturridge (23), Philippe Coutinho (20), Joao Teixeira (20), Luis Alberto (21), Iago Aspas (26), Simon Mignolet (25), Kolo Toure (95), Mamadou Sakho (23), Tiago Ilori (20), Ricki Lambert (96), Adam Lallana (26), Emre Can (20), Lazar Markovic (20), Dejan Lovren (24), Divock Origi (19), Alberto Moreno (22) and Mario Balotelli (24).

So outside of Aspas and Lallana none of them had yet hit their prime years (26-30), or in most cases come even close, and Toure and Lambert were both for experience and definitely not to be relied upon. There is a huge youth movement at Liverpool right now, and he's also given starts to the likes of Raheem Sterling, Jordon Ibe, Jon Flanagan, Andre Wisdom, Joao Teixeira, Suso and Sebastian Coates. He has also brought a great number of academy players up to train with the first team and even be on the bench for games like Rossiter, Trickett-Smith, Wilson, etc. etc.

I'm not comparing them as managers yet, but their starts are very comparable.

RAWK has traditionally been a bastion; a pillar, if you will, of managerial support. But I believe the time has now come for us to ask questions about our manager: Do you think we should send him a Christmas card? Anyone got his address?

:lol: They don't give a shit about Liverpool
I have know idea where Liverpool fans get this obsession with needing to convince each other that all other clubs and fans care about them. I mean, are they really deluded enough to think most non-Liverpool fans care one jot what they do? Do they believe this themselves? If so, I can only imagine it's a consequence of having so many Liverpool fans as pundits. They've tricked the general Liverpool supporting public that everyone must feel this way.

I think that overweening self-regard is the other side of the coin to their famous self-pity. Everything's always about them: either they're the "good" guys or everyone's out to get them. Most knowledgable fans in the world, doncha know?

Every other word is feck, I'm no saint myself but him and the presenters of that garbage 'youtube' channel just come across as complete scum.
I'm not a big fan of them, but they come across fine. In no way are they scum. Group of lads having a laugh and get thousands of views while also enjoying various privileges such as interviews with players.

This isn't RAWK but is relevant to what you're talking about. It's taken from this article from the Telegraph: Liverpool's problems? Delusions of grandeur, transfer duds and failure to fix clear flaws in the squad

There is plenty of encouragement to drop Liverpool’s name alongside the grandees of Europe such as Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich when discussing heritage, status, commercial potential and global support.

Judge what happened in these six group games in relation to those clubs, however, and there will be less inclination to embrace the comparison.

It is worth considering how board members at The Nou Camp, Bernabeu or Allianz Arena would be reacting this morning if their side had won a meagre five points from 18 from a Champions League group including the Swiss and Bulgarian champions.

Would Florentino Perez be privately briefing the Spanish media mouthpiece Marca that while it was deeply disappointing, it was important to retain a sense of perspective?

Would we be hearing Barcelona chief Josep Maria Bartomeu propose a persuasive argument that although his club spent £120 million on new players during the summer, it was inevitable they would need time to gel?

Would Franz Beckenbauer seek to console Bayern supporters by suggesting they need not worry about an injection of new blood in the January transfer window, because he retained the absolute faith that everyone was doing a marvellous job and it was such a shame one key player derailed everything by leaving in July?
Then there's this

There are two annoying things about Liverpool Football Club. The first is the insistence of their fans and disciples on referring to them at all times as ‘Liverpool Football Club’.

Why do they do this? Perhaps it has something to do with the second, which is the belief of all Liverpool fans that they constitute some sort of chosen people; more special, more noble, more decorated, more triumphant and more tragic, more blessed and more cursed, than any other club. Quite a bold claim for a club who derive their moral credo from a Gerry and the Pacemakers song.

Watched a few of the videos and having a laugh and craic with your mates is fine but moderate the language in front of the camera at least, the presenters are worse there is a video were they are all discussing a loss back in their hq and literally every other word was fecking.

Might not be necessarily scum but all the presenters of that channel barely have a brain cell to go between them.

Thankfully FullTimeDevils isn't far behind in that regard so at least there's some balance.

Who are you, the moral police?

Some of you lot will find any excuse to have a go at them.
