Its a shame the semi final is at an even smaller ground. I live only a short distance from Eden Park and fear i may end up with a few cricket balls on the roof. Its far too small a ground for cricket as far as Im concerned.

I think 40 or so years of watching nz cricket teams slip over frequently always has me expecting the worst
Yep. We're always one innings away from a spectacular choke job.

I think NZ are over-rated. 3 years ago, I thought they'd have one of the best bowling in the world soonish -- Boult in India was magnificent, Southee always has had potential and Bracewell looked a good bowler.

Now they do but suddenly everyone's over-rating them. That lower middle order is piss poor for me.

Yeah.. they are too top heavy.. get their front 3 in hut early and they will struggle.

Gayle looks in good touch but should not matter

The media may be overrating them, but all the Black Caps fans I know don't think we're the best in the world or anything. However, on our day, we can take on the best in the world, no doubt about that.

And the WI collapse begins. They've given up already. No attempt to rotate the strike and build a solid partnership, keep wickets in hand.
Gayle is injured, but even at the best of times, strike rotation isn't in his philosophy

Media are overhyping us but then its not just about the top 3 is it. Team game with other disciplines important.... such as fielding...

This will be over soon as well. Hopefully Gayle signs off his world cup career with a ton

I am talking about the batting.. Likes of Elliot and Ronchi are decidedly medicore... in lower order it is only Corey Anderson which inspires some confidence.
