Is this gonna be the first ever RAWK summer where next year isn't their year? That wouldn't be anywhere near as fun for the boom/bust cycle.

Liverpool fan here.

I think the Old Trafford legend made some interesting remarks. As a Liverpool fan, I've never been a fan of Neville, but I wouldn't be able to resist the urge to ruffle his hair if I ever encountered him in public, the cheeky scamp. I remember him kissing the badge against us when Rio scored the late winner at Old Trafford. Most Liverpool fans were outraged, but I was merely impressed. I saw a legend of the game who couldn't resist the urge demonstrate his passion, tenacity and commitment. I was at the game and threw a rose on the pitch to show my appreciation for him and Gary gave me the finger in return. We had a moment. Again, passion that you makes you hold your hands up and say, "fair dos, lad."

Anyway, you asked about the article. Spot on, to be fair, I'm no fan of Neville, but I was nursing a semi as I read it. As a Liverpool fan, I can't believe how many legends you lot are churning out off the pitch after they retire. Carragher only wishes he could be as insightful as Gary. That, and form a coherent sentence. We, Liverpool, need to consider hiring somebody with the passion of Gary. The blues had Phil... maybe we could have Gary? Well, that semi's making a sequel at just the thought. I'll leave it at that.
Excellent. If only your name was something like johnnoBlack...

We need to think of some titles for next year's thread. RAWK Goes Into Meltdown 2015/16:

"The we go again... again edition"
"The life after Slippy edition"

At this rate it'll be more like

Did I just watch a sensible interview on RMTV? :houllier:
A sensible interview that talked about Gerrard putting Bret Hart in a sharpshooter and ended with him saying they have a good core of players (who?) and they only need a few to challenge next year?

He did however, basically say that Lallana was better than Gerrard. Nice to see them begrudgingly accept Stevie's gone to shite now.

I'm not sure if I enjoy them being down and out like this, rather than the delusion of old.

And what is this period called? "The Great Hope". We've won feck all in a decade.

Gerrard had one foot in the door at Stamford Bridge.

Suarez wanted to join the Spanish giants that are Arsenal.

Torres also left for Spain, didn't he?

Sterling is more than likely going to sign for another team in England.

Players aren't just wanting out in order to join Real Madrid or Barcelona. They want out because this club is a great club now, only in name.
Even talking down the greatest, and smartest fans in the entire world
Standards have definitely slacked at this club. From years ago at the top it's filtered through the whole club. Even through the fanbase now where we make excuses and more excuses.

To coin Fordy we're not winners anymore and that is a shame.
Sterling..

You could make the case that his recent dip in form is a deliberate preview of how he'll perform if he isn't sold.
It's a signal of our decline as a club when a foetus thinks he's too good for us.
After the Ancelotti-quotes about taking a year off, a poster is crushed that he wont be joining Liverpool..

Can strike him off the list if Rodgers gets sacked
A poster suggests De Boer to take the reigns if Rodgers is sacked, however this amazing supporter suggest that Klopp would be a better choice! (Wow, really? This guy shows that Klopp would prove the boards ignorance though

Maybe but once again would show that really our owners dont know what they are doing. De Boer works under a DOF, has apparently a track record of developing young players, has had success in Holland and plays an attacking and possession style.

Klopp is like completely different.
On Rodgers getting the sack;

The thing is, if he goes, there will be trouble.
If he stays, there will be double.
Therefore, he should go, because there will only be half as much trouble.
Indeed....

The standards for being a Liverpool striker is dropping these days..

I'm sure we can up his stats a bit. Benteke is a footballer(in the occupational sense) who is trusted by Belgium, surrounded by footballers(ability-wise). He'll train everyday and with each passing game he can get better.

They still have the underlying belief that their young team* has some vast potential. And half still have faith in Brenty.

*Ibe, Coutinho, Hendo, Studge if fit,

Some even believe Markovic isn't a complete cock knocker.

It's not over.

Hi there,
I have a mate who, like you and I, is a Manchester United fan. But the thing is he doesn't believe that you really are a Man United fan more like a Liverpool fan. How do you respond to this accusation?
His name is Rolandofgilead and he said he will challange you to a bout of fisticuffs if you disagree.
Thank you for your time.

Doubt it lasts long before I'm banned.

It was in the Van Gaal thread but been deleted already but some dude did quote it lol he asked me why I was pretending to be a Liverpool thread.

I started the account to troll them but I felt bad for most if them haha I think all I said ages ago was they we should support that stupid mascot because he looks just like Rodgers.
