Sir Matts birthday, 17 years since we won the treble and 12 years since Mourinho won the CL with Porto. What a day to appoint him as our new manager

feck off Woy, you miserable shit. He only asked for your view on the announcement.
Good old roy shows how unlikable he is, probably thinking Mourinho will give no kids a chance, even his english boys which how he even got the job boggles the mind

Martin o Neil, and many others give their view Mourinho, even Zlatin, bet good old roy has no idea how lucky he is in this conference

To be fair, United fans have never really liked Mourinho. He's a cnut. But now he's our cnut
That's only because of the rivalry though, as soon as he left for Inter, most united fans warmed to him. IIRC he has never said anything disrespectful about our club or SAF so the door was always open

Media led shite? He poked someone in the eye. He destroyed his medical department. He's made sexist comments.

Media led shite?
Media led shite that saw Bobby Charlton dislike him? He doesn't fit in with how I see Manchester United, a fantastic club with ideals to strive towards.

Genuinely feels like it. Not the SAF hangover like Moyes and LVG felt like.

We have the commercial maestro that is Woodward with a lot of tough experience under his belt alongside the ultimate competitor and winner Jose Mourinho, the club has the best possible leadership possible.

They have a strong and aligned agenda to be the team who re-created United after the SAF era. They have money. They have the fans good will.

Its ON!
FA cup last week
Jose this week
Zlatan next week

For the first time since SAF left, I am genuinely excited.
We are on the path right back to the top.

Sir Alex was no saint. Remember Keane, and Cantona? All three are considered legends.

I'm actually shocked a nation so steeped in footballing history and talent can't find someone better than this idiot.
We do seem to have a problem with producing managers.

Aye I suppose, but he's always been a cock in general imo. Just things like how he treated that doctor. I've always got the sense we didn't like him.

Oh take a chill pill Twigg.
He is our manager now and will be for years to come, we will actually start winning again.

Sky keep saying over and over that they've broken this first, Ducker was the first to say it was done.

They were the first to say he's signed the contract I think. Either way, I think most fans can now see through Sky's nonsense.

Sky says at 5.20pm Mourinho signed.
Woodward and Mendes worked this morning to finalise all contract issues and invited Mourinho to a central London hotel to sign documents.
He arrived back home with a bottle of wine at 5.40pm.

Giggs and Mourinho have yet to speak about Giggs future.

They are treating this like the coup of the century!!

United twitter quiet for 4 hours, just like it was pre-LVG leaving announcement. Hmm

Its good that he has had a rest for the past 5 months. He has never rested before. This would have done him a world of good. Now he will be more motivated and more energized.
