The self-denial is strong in that bunch.

That's the thing about city fans. Whenever you speak to them, it's like they're stuck in time, still pushing the same shitty narratives that invariably have United fans pointing and laughing. They'd love to be a truly global club, but they just aren't. Instead, even after all of these years of rolling in it, they need to fall back on the tired old cliches to make themselves feel better."So if any lurking rags (they don't know why their called rags by the way) want to use this, then you have my permission. Oh, and now that Brexit is almost upon us don't worry. I'm sure most of your fans will find a way to get to the games."
"I never realised this. Well I hardly go there anyway but I was curious so had a quick look a few pages in. You're likely about right. Helsinki, Finland, Norway, Jamaica, Atlanta, California, Texas and other parts of US, Malaysia, Japan, Turkey, Pakistan, Canada, Croatia, Melbourne, Sydney, Milan, Lagos, Poland, etc and that's just a few pages in. They might have, they might have not been to games or may have moved. Not sure about the ones without location though. I saw a few from Manchester but realised most of them were City fans like, Cityfaninpeace, gentleman Jim, Polite Poster, etc."
This coming from fans who follow a club made up as follows:
Owners / Chairman - United Arab Emirates
Director - China
Chief Exec - Spain
Director of Football - Spain
Manager - Spain
Asst managers - England & Argentina
26-man Squad
England x 3 (Hart, Delph and probably Sterling will most likely get moved on too!)
France x 4
Belgium x 3
Argentina x 5
Brazil x 2
Spain x 3
Serbia x 1
Ivory Coast x 2
Nigeria x 1
Germany x 1
Australia x 1
They really are a thick, deluded and bitter bunch!
Also, some of us "foreigners" are Mancs who've moved away.Stopped reading when he confused their with they're.
Who gives a toss about a location of a forum poster? Small time.
Great band."foreigner"
You made me go check what songs they're known for and I discovered something new. I always thought they were American, but they were founded (in New York) by two Englishmen.Great band.
I was expecting "I thought we played in red."Didn't know where to put this but it made me giggle.

Sell outs!"Will the Etihad ever sell out??
Who really cares??
As for selling out, that lot from Trafford sold out years ago - hence their breakaway club"
That's how thick they are!! The thread was actually about whether the Emptihad would sell out capacity wise i.e. get maximum attendance! This was after their new signing Nolito asked if it ever gets full!!Sell outs!
It's bizarre. Think he interviewed Balotelli for Football Focus once as well. It's even more weird that he's made out to be the toppest of top blues but he was nowhere to be seen for years before they became Abu Dhabi FC, now he's like a club ambassador.Noticed that Noel fecking Gallagher will do City’s first interview with Pep. It’s fecking weird, why not use someone who actually has something to do with journalism?

Do they have a script writer there? I would have thought his dream, as an ex Barca player, was to manage Barca? Amazing he didn't burst out laughing.Tweet

I think he meant working in England being the dream that has come true.Do they have a script writer there? I would have thought his dream, as an ex Barca player, was to manage Barca? Amazing he didn't burst out laughing.
He was clearly referring to playing and working in the English league, and that managing City has now fulfilled that dream. Besides, it's no more laughable than Di Maria's claim when he signed that United were the only team he'd have left Madrid for.Do they have a script writer there? Maybe we have an even better script writer. He was clearly referring to playing and working in the English league, and that managing City has now fulfilled that dream. Besides, it's no more laughable than Di Maria's claim when he signed that United were the only team he'd have left Madrid for.
Sounds like he's struggling to justify coming to City.Tweet

It was a huge step up... for his bank accountJust hit me watching that vid what a gigantic step down it is for Pep. From Barca to Bayern to.... Man City. I must admit I am surprised he went there.
That all stemmed for Collymore, like a couple of people on here, misinterpreting Pep's comments. Wouldn't expect anything that requires even a minor degree of intelligence from the kind of man who has no problem viciously assaulting his own wife though.
