Every club does it's basically a moot point.I think the poster was referring to us poaching him from France to begin with.

Except that would hugely back fire since Juve can easily afford it. Their not dumb y'know. If these recent reports are true I honestly wouldn't mind us just refusing to pay the agent fee because it sets a poor example going forward with future deals. We are in a position of power in terms of Juve have just spent a hell of a lot of money on Higuain and are more than likely relying on this deal going through. Biding our time and letting them sweat would be no problem for me and in the mean time perhaps test the water with other targets until they see sense and complete the deal.
No I was laughing because United poached him from Le Havre in first place.Yes, you offered him more wages and took him away. Now it's our turn to do the same
Yes but thats irrelevant, the poster brought it up to explain the 20% in the contract not complaining about the poachingI think the poster was referring to us poaching him from France to begin with.
Sounds painfulGoing loo again tomorrow I assume. Do we think something concrete will actually come out soon?
They will somehow sell him to Real Madrid but for much cheaper. Can Juventus really sign Higuain without the transfer of Pogba? Where does it leave them if Pogba transfer breaks down?
If they spent their wad before getting it, time for Woodward to turn the screw. Can Juventus really sign Higuain without the transfer of Pogba? Where does it leave them if Pogba transfer breaks down?
According to some posters they have endless amounts of money , but no they 'd be in some troubleCan Juventus really sign Higuain without the transfer of Pogba? Where does it leave them if Pogba transfer breaks down?
yeh he has taken bloody forever to get his feet wet in this saga. His word is literally the HorseWhat I'm basically hoping is that he now has ears and eyes in this deal. If you see him say Pogba will join United, you better believe it's a sure thing!
Didn't Pogba leave because he wanted to play first team football and not be Rafael's replacement in midfield?Yes, you offered him more wages and took him away. Now it's our turn to do the same
Sells on clauses are very common place. I think United have one with Zaha, so if Palace sell him United will get a cut of the transfer fee.lmao why would Juve have to pay an agent's fee when you want to buy their player?
No I don't agree. An agent not bending over to the selling club trying to get them to honour their agreement is not what I call stalling. Nor do I see any way that United are playing hardball with Raiola. We're playing hardball with Juventus, not Raiola. If Raiola figured he had the right to demand a bigger fee of United, he'd be meeting the club about it and not Juve. If anything it points to worsening relations between Juve and Pogba's camp. Your alternative scenario doesn't fit into this narrative and as such I don't consider it feasible at all. The only thing I can take away from this is that we have spectacularly differing opinions about it.I said on the player's side. Read my post. And you friggin well agree with me. The agent is stalling the process because his fee hasn't been agreed. One conclusion to that is United are playing serious hardball with Raiola given our history with him. A second, and entirely feasible alternative conclusion, is that they are stalling to see who else matches United's bid. Either conclusion doesn't exactly point to good relations between United and the Pogba camp now does it? It's not that hard to imagine them stalling for either reason. I'm equally bemused that I had to explain this to you in such detail.
They claim so but I don't believe it for a second. Even if they could, it would be so unlike them it would be like North Korea having an open election. Can Juventus really sign Higuain without the transfer of Pogba? Where does it leave them if Pogba transfer breaks down?
We clearly do.No I don't agree. An agent not bending over to the selling club trying to get them to honour their agreement is not what I call stalling. Jose's whiteboard comes close though. many eyes were strained that day.No transfer thread will ever trump the Thiago one. Him signing that football and the excitement from the Cafe that accompanied it was amazing.
Please post evidence of this - it's not that I disagree, I literally haven't seen any source say Juve are skint apart from people here.According to some posters they have endless amounts of money , but no they 'd be in some trouble
Thats the best/most accurate way I have seen it putThey claim so but I don't believe it for a second. Even if they could, it would be so unlike them it would be like North Korea having an open election.
Pogba is just as talented if not more talented than Bale. So whats the difference? If anything Pogba is a proven winner with 4 serie A titles under his belt by age 23. What did Bale do at the same age with Spurs?Definitely not. We should have tried harder to sign Bale.
Not sure if this gives enough colour but some info from Forbes:Please post evidence of this - it's not that I disagree, I literally haven't seen any source say Juve are skint apart from people here.
Thanks! Not sure if this gives enough colour but some info from Forbes:

What I said a few dozen pages ago......So we are now expected to pay 140 mill,I feel like they are taking the piss. Pogba should be paying Riaola his 20 mill not us.
Fergie was right about this cretin.
Id actually love it if we gave them the 2 fingers with the take it or leave it offer.
CR7..How often has the transfer record been broken for a player who was actually considered the best in the world at that particular moment in time?
Surely, however often the word is rolled out, 'potential' will always play a part in the most extortionate fees?
Pretty sure it's common practice to have a sell on percentage go to the agent. A team sets an overall price and a portion of that goes to the agent. Juventus are saying they want 120m after they pay off the agent, not the 120m all together like what was reported they asked for initially so that's probably where the stall comes from .lmao why would Juve have to pay an agent's fee when you want to buy their player?
Quiet before the fireworks mate.Even Bouhafsi couldnt give us any news on whats going on. Damn it is indeed dark times.
You may need to use some lube.Going again tomorrow I assume. Do we think something concrete will actually come out soon?
This has been repeated a million times. When Pogba signed for Juve, a clause was agreed in his contract that Raiola would get 20% of any future transfer value.lmao why would Juve have to pay an agent's fee when you want to buy their player?
Dude Higuain is a pretty major event.Quiet before the fireworks mate.
I bet we are letting Juve enjoy their Higuain moment before the main event tomorrow!
He's like Tancredi in my opinion. An attention seeking chancer.Pilib de brun doing another periscope soon, if anyone on here is watching, could you let me know what he says about this deal? Thanks
Link?Mediaset say tomorrow. Trust them.
They're owned by the Agnellis who are worth a fortune and injected more funds this Summer. Sure they'd rather have £120m but I don't think they HAVE TO sell.According to some posters they have endless amounts of money , but no they 'd be in some trouble
It's what they reported last night on Twitter.Link?
Just listened to a bit:Pilib de brun doing another periscope soon, if anyone on here is watching, could you let me know what he says about this deal? Thanks
they said that yesterdayLink?
