Just poking fun. :>
pointing to mathematical error? Was just meaning to say that of the 3 CBs, only 2 can be termed as crucial as the 3rd choice is basically backup

Piers Morgan is still up and about? Prick was going on about how silver medals are a sign of failure
Love it how he starts pointing to the grammatical errors if someone makes a valid claim about how ridiculous his(Morgan's) arguments are

Who the feck wishes a stroke on ANYONE else, let alone someone on your own team? He's obviously not representative of their whole fanbase, but this guy should get banned from their forum. Anything less is tacit agreement from their mods.
100%, as someone who had a close family member have exactly one of those a few months ago, you have to be an absolute twat to wish it on someone. It's only bloody football, the absolute bellend.

Wenger quoted as saying that they aren't ready physically yet. That's unbelievable isn't it? A side that is expected to challenge for the league isn't ready for the first game of the season.

Actually what's more unbelievable is the fact that he's willing to admit that.

I'd love to see how they would react if they replaced Wenger with David Moyes, bought in Fellaini on the last day of the transfer window, and then finished 7th.

This is a guy who tries to depict Arsenal as being some poor team with no finances, "we can't compete" etc.
It's almost like we've imagined they have the highest ticket prices in the country, have 60,000 sell outs (2nd biggest in the country is it?), and have a super rich owner, on top of money in football being at the highest level ever.

Definitely his last year

That is David Moyes levels of baffling admission.

They cut to him a few times on the bench after another Arse attack broke down. Head in his hands throwing a tantrum. He's never struck me as a natural leader or winner, despite his obvious plus points.

I just don't understand him. He knows the fans are already frustrated, he knows they haven't signed the required reinforcements. Despite that he still comes out with these quotes that are almost certainly going to wind up an already severely wound up fan base. He's either incredibly arrogant or genuinely out of touch with the fans.

He helped evolve football in England but that was a very long time ago. He's the reason why they never compete and more fans realise it every day.

I don't know why I'm so annoyed seeing as we just beat them but they are such a frustrating club.

More than likely, it's just that.

If Wenger goes next year, who's there to replace him? I don't see any top manager being on the move next year, they might slump into similar to our post Ferguson slide. They'll definetly have to risk on someone by the looks of things, their best bet would probably be Tuchel, who will be in his final year with Dortmund. Or LvG.

Oh, he was a visionary in his own right but he's not a winner.

Personally, I find something remarkably soothing about their repetition. You can set your clock to it. In an ever changing world they are the one absolute, the one constant.

That TY features on the Man United 04/05 season review. He is mouthing off before we ended their unbeaten record.

I've seen that. Bizarrely he looks exactly the same as he does now. I'm sure he's wearing the same clothing as well.

I think this is the season for Mr Bludfam to shine, I think Claude should take a backseat for the sake of his health and let younger generation of moaners come through.

Anyone else constantly checking the ArsenalFanTV channel? :D

They do this so regularly it's not even worth getting excited about. It's the same old boom-bust cycle.

Slowly getting left behind. A lot of injuries, but when the inevitable Wenger leaving happens, they'll be on a weaker state squad wise than we Fergie handed the Baton to Moyes.

The state of the game has changed, you need to move on and act fast squad wise. Wenger too cautious and slow - not it will be a few potential panic buys.

They have a bad first game, the end of the world is nigh. Finish in Top 4, not actually win anything, but everything is alright with the world again. Some old stuff.

They'll be fine once they get their players back and it will be business as usual.

I remember Villa beat them at home on the opening day of the season and there were similar meltdowns.

Aye. The 'problem' for an unbiased watcher like myself is that they're really good at times. Not quite good enough to take seriously, but good enough that we have to spend an inordinate amount of time talking about what they might do, even though we already know they won't.

Even if they'd managed to come behind in a spectacular way, get the rest of the players back, and go on a surprising winning streak that saw them gain a decent lead at the top, I still wouldn't be worried about them. It seems painfully inevitable for them that the end of the season will approach and their fans will still be divided about whether or not Wenger should go, followed by a summer of frugality that is enough to placate the Wenger loyalists but infuriate the rest.

Luckily for Wenger, their fans in general have never seemed like the most raucous bunch, just a bunch of whiners with no real backbone.
