I've completely lost count of the number of times I've read this on RAWK. They know it as well as we do, but still when that win against United turns up they all lose their tiny little minds.

Incidentally, anyone care to help me out by telling me what fruit or vegetable it is that Moreno and (particularly) Firmino remind me of with their daft little topknots? Can't quite put my finger on it.

Coutinho had 8 shots on target today 6 off target.

Earlier this week they couldn't help themselves from the usual overreaction

Well, he doesn't really have the luxury of having team-mates who can play at his level consistently, so he has to try and do things on his own. World-class player, stuck at the wrong club. Hope a big club shops him off Liverpool next summer.

But...but.... They beat an Arsenal side with the world class talent of Holding and Chambers in the back four. Just remember 'we should be worried', 'they have Klopp'.
Oh... right...

They.have.Klopp.

:nervous:

I don't understand the embarrassing delusion from top to bottom of the whole club. Their record in the last 10 years IS a mid-table one. One sole league cup is all they have and it was nearly equalled by Bradford City. I think the failure the deep down insecurity and failure to accept being so shite after so many years as the most successful team by a mile is the reason. Such a fall from grace in the last 26 years and more notably in the last 7 would be hard to take.

Henderson is a fraud. He not a premier league player, he's not a liverpool player and he's certainly not a captain of any side. If Klopp thinks he is then he's a fecking fraud too.

Why don't you feck off?

Banned, knobhead.

Poor performance most notibly from our manager. We have better players on every position yet we lost. That's the managers fault.
All the top sides have a specialist DM - Coquelin, Xhaka, Schneiderlin, Matic, Kante, Dier, Wanyama, Fetnando.

We have Lucas. Nuff said.
Lucas is better than more than half of those guys, though. Just doesn't play as much.
The last poster talking about Lucas is either a WUM or an extremely deluded individual:lol:

Liverpool sign a player over United? I don't get why they think their club is of any importance to top, top players. It's a step down from Spurs at this stage ffs.
At some point surely they've got to realise that they're no longer relevant for top players.
Foreign players especially, at the top of their game, couldn't give a shit that Liverpool used to be good in the 80's.
They are a level below United, Bayern, Madrid, Barca etc. They are competing with the likes of Everton, Dortmund, Valencia etc for transfer targets.
I thought they said with the arrival of Klopp they were going to attract the top talent. Instead they've got second rate players to add to their second rate team.

 No.

He's nowhere near intelligent enough in his use of the ball to be spoken of in the world class bracket. Almost always tries the Roy of the Rovers stuff rather than actually play for the benefit of the team. I lost count the amount of times Sturridge had made a good run today for him to be overlooked by Coutinho who chose to try and ping it in the top corner instead. By the end, the poor fella just gave up trying to show for the ball.

The true Manchester United fans know that they have the wrong manager who is wasting their money on the wrong players. And they are terrified by the sight of Jurgen Klopp managing Liverpool Football Club. They know what is coming.
Talking about results this early in the season is always silly. But, you can see how the team is playing, and if the new signings can be a good fit for the team. Personally, from what I have seen of Manchester United in their first 3 games, I think that they will struggle to get into the top 4. The lack of pace on their team is shocking, and their midfield is nothing like Mourinho's usual first defensive line. The way Southampton were gliding through Mancs' midfield last night was a big surprise for me. If they had any quality in the attacking third, they could have easily slaughtered the Mancs.

Probably because there weren't many football forums in the 90s.
Also, judging by some of the atrocities some teams and especially keepers used to wear back then, taste and common sense seems to have been in short supply in the 90's.

Liverpool fan: 'Klopp is no better than Rodgers'
Liverpool fan David believes that Jurgen Klopp's team is worse now than it was under former manager Brendan Rodgers.

"I think Jurgen Klopp has made Liverpool worse; The summer signings have been dreadful," David said.

He's no better than Brendan Rodgers. We finished eighth last season; We finished seventh and second under Brendan Rodgers, We're going backwards now!" he added.

Poor Liverpool:
Just to add to our woes, why is it every time we come up against lower opposition do fecking twats score against us? Paedophile Adam Johnson, GBH criminal Troy Deeney, and now homophobic Andre Gray.
