RAWK lunacy from 2005:
Right, the press (for once) have been bigging us up, "Chelsea won't know what's hit them." Cauldron of noise." Juventus froze - will Chelsea?" etc. Let's be honest, we've been bigging ourselves up too saying exactly the same thing.
WELL NOW'S THE TIME TO feckIN PROVE IT BOYS!
Don't leave your voices in the alehouse! How many times do you walk past the Albert, Park, Sandon etc and hear it booming only for those same boomers to turn into whimperers once they've parked their arses in the seats in the ground? We want everybody singing tonight - young and old, male and female, Scouse, wools and OOT's - Kop, Paddock, Main Stand, Lower Anny, Upper Anny, Lower Kemlyn, Upper Kemlyn (feck your Centenary bollocks) every feckin body!
COME ON!
Chelsea are a better team than us - fact - so we need every conceivable edge we can get. Let's be as horrible, nasty and bitter to them as we feckin well can - within the bounds of the ground regulations of course. For instance, feck this clapping the opposing goalkeeper mularkey. feck HIM! He might be the best goalie in the world but when Cech comes down to the Kop (hopefully for the start of the second half) we need him to be cacking his kecks standing in front of us. Let's make him feel as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit - it might just give us an edge. Same goes for the referee. Scream, shout and contest EVERY decision - again it might just give us an edge. For once let's feck our reputation for sportsmanship. Should Chelsea go through then will be the time, if you so wish, to show sportsmanship, NOT DURING THE GAME!
WE, THE FANS, HAVE GOT TO DO EVERYTHING IN OUR POWER TO WIN THIS FOOTBALL MATCH.
Now imagine what it will be like if we do go through and we, the fans, have played a large part in achieving that. Think what it will do for our reputation. Fans of other clubs throughout the contry, even the world, already jealous of our reputation and what we can do - WHEN WE WANT TO - will be in even more awe of us. It might even just be that because of it UEFA will feel fit, if we win the competition, to overturn their own ridiculous rule that holders will not automatically qualify for the following season's competition and give the Premier League five places should that need arise.

We have been up against it before in European second legs at Anfield in games such as Auxerre, PSG and Strasbourg but NEVER have I felt that the team need us as much as I do for tonight's game. That might sound a mad thing to say with the tie seemingly balanced on a knife-edge at 0-0 but believe me - feck what Mourinho says about 99.9% of us - we know we've a feckin tough job on our hands. Should we go a goal down let's not throw in the feckin towel. KEEP SCREAMING! KEEP SHOUTING! KEEP SINGING!

I hope and firmly believe our players won't let us down - win or lose - let us (THE MOST FAMOUS feckIN CROWD IN THE WORLD) not let ourselves down.
WE'VE TALKED THE TALK NOW LET'S feckIN WALK THE WALK!

COME ON!

IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT PART OF THE GROUND YOU'RE IN TONIGHT - TONIGHT, IN THE SPIRUAL SENSE, EVERYBODY'S A KOPITE. LET THE LADS FROM THE 60'S AND 70'S, INTER MILAN, ST ETTIENNE ETC BE PROUD OF YOU - BE PROUD OF US.

IF WE DO WIN THIS IT WILL BE THE GREATEST CROWD FEAT EVER AT ANFIELD. IT WILL EVEN OUTDO THE LIKES OF INTER, ST ETTIENNE, AUXERRE ETC.

WE ARE THE FAMOUS - THE FAMOUS KOPITES!

COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is absolutely brutal
(i kinda feel sorry for liverpool after reading this)

  • Paul Scholes has won the league a fair few times. Retired, Came out of retirement, won the league again and re-retired, and became a pundit on BT Sport.
  • Wayne Rooney has gone from having hair to having no hair and again to hair again.
  • Twitter was invented, facebook too.
  • City have been relegated, promoted, relegated again and promoted again and won the league twice.
  • Pep Guardiola has retired as a player, became a manager and has won titles with the same club he was playing. Quit, joined Bayern Munich and won more titles, Quit again and joined Man City.

  • DeGea was born and grew up, joined Manchester United and won the League.

  • Jose Mourinho became Manager and won 23 Trophies.
Worst is yet to come ....
  • Peter Schmeichel signed for Man United, won the league 5 times, gave birth to a son who grew up, won the league himself.

Yet throughout all this, every year has been Liverpool's Year.

I would have loved a little snow on Christmas though.

I have a friend who is liverpool fan in Bodø where i was studying a few years ago, I remember when they were about 7-8 points clear of United in 2008-09 and all he could do is laugh at me whenever he saw me. Oh i loved the meltdown at the end of the season. He told me that he used to be a United fan when he was a child, became a Liverpool fan because his father threatened him not to buy him Man United shirt ever because his father himself was a liverpool fan.

How cruel :o

Norwegian child care service are world famous for their vigilance, this should be more than enough to bring that shit to court.

I actually don't mind that.

It's quite realistic by their standards. Admits Chelsea are the better team but that a great atmosphere is key for throwing them off their game.

Maybe a tad over dramatic but for a European Cup semi-final for the first time in years?

There is a large majority of Norwegians who are liverpool fans, especially little older people, i guess its because the Norwegian TV used to broadcast live Premier league in the era of Liverpool dominance. His Dad was one of those I guess.

The Premier League only came into existence in 1992, dippers have never won it.
No, that was the Premiership. People have been saying Premier League for about three years now. So, we can all regard Man Utd as a lame club capable of the odd cup run.

Has anyone claimed he is WC. Most quotes I read acknowledge he is raw and a work in progress. However, they love his aggression, something that we have missed since Vidic in his prime. Not seen any comments about good on the ball, skillful, Baresi-Maldini Like
No one on here is atupid enough to compare even some of our defensive legends with thos two nevermind someone still in their first season. Thats a dipper trait.

I have a similar story... Supported arsenal as a kid and my dad used same threat to make me support his team Manchester United! That's what Dad's are for :)

Wrong. The FA Premier League, or the Premier League as it is officially called now, came into existence on 19992. It is also known as the Premiership, but that was never its official name. United have won almost half of all Premier League titles. Liverpool have won zero.

The ginger dude staring up at the skies the entire time without any reaction is bloody bizarre.
He is contemplating what he is going to spend his next dole money on and missed the goal. Beans or spaghetti hoops? Oh shit they scored.

So feckin good over there. Reminiscent of the Macheda goal all those years ago. Lots of gloating, then we equalise, then lots of "oh feck" posts, then we win and it's "look at them celebrating against relegation fodder". It's joyous.

They actually agree on Mason being biased.

..only they think the bias favoured us.

Ahhh well. To be fair Mourinho's playing a blinder so far, he's loaded up their wage bill, stunted the development of some fine young players, and has them playing shitly but juuuuust well enough that he's not going to get sacked at the end of the season.

Pretty sure they weren't calling Rashford, Martial + others "fine young players" last season... Weird how they are now good when they've barely turned up all season, and when they have played, they've been mostly poor.
