What's more mental is that if Ibra was still with us he would be second on that list after just one season!

Valencia has 22 goals in 8 years, Young has 14 goals in 6 years. No wonder so many fans identified them for the chop when LVG took over. I know they now play further back, but they have been wingers for most of their time at United.
To be fair, they also played on United teams that featured very potent strikers. Their lack of goals wasn't so much a problem then and not as much a result of having lots of chances but not converting them.

Not as worrying as it looks, given that Martial, Mkhi and Pogba haven't been at the club for long and Rashford is less than 2 years into his first team career.

Our defenders could do with chipping in with a few more goals from set-pieces.

I find it interesting that he's such good mates with Pogba. They've never played together in the same club, nor play for the same national team. I wonder how they got along...
United/City/Everton/Liverpool are all relatively close to each other. Most players at those clubs tend to live in the posh parts of Cheshire. It's not unlikely that Pogba and Lukaku rub shoulders a fair bit. Their similar personalities means they're friends on top of that.

Now I can see why people are worried about the lack of goals in the squad even with Lukaku :nervous:

Apparently they're reliable(they run our official store I believe).

So Lukaku will be getting the number 10 shirt it appears.

Also both French speaking players of African descent around the same age. I’m pretty sure players from all sorts of clubs come across each other enough to strike up a friendship, especially when they have a number of things in common like Pogba and Lukaku seem to have.

Would have preferred the 9 for him, suits his game more. Sorry to harp on about the same point, but he really doesn't have any silk to his game so the 10 isn't a natural fit.

This has to be the slowest ever official announcement, what are they waiting for? Maybe still sorting finer details of image rights, etc?

Or a mass unveiling with Neymar, Bale and Fabinho as well...

Waiting till Mourinho and Ed get to LA for the unveiling photos I presume.

When is this going to be officially announced?
If not at midnight, very likely tomorrow morning, gives time for him to get pictures with Jose and an interview with MUTV.

He isn't in the squad for the tour, does this mean he won't be in any games or can he be added in straight after the announcement?

Of course he can. He is in the squad, he just wasn't in the list because be hasn't been announced yet.

Today is Rooney leaving day on social media. They'll probably announce Lukaku first thing tomorrow and have it run through the day until training.

Squad list doesn't mean anything for friendlies. He can play fine. Just wasn't included as he hasn't officially signed yet.
