I find it interesting that he's such good mates with Pogba. They've never played together in the same club, nor play for the same national team. I wonder how they got along...

French - the language of love... Although I think Lukaku has excellent Flemish as well, not sure which is his preference. Hazard on the other hand can barely speak Flemish.

Must be the longest medical in the history.
Sure, he's a big lad, but really....

He already posted on instagram that the medical was finished. It's just the club now deciding when is best to announce it, probably want to devote some time to Rooney right now instead of trying to overshadow him.

Wasn't Lukaku on holiday with Memphis last summer? I think he's just been making friends with United players so he could get a move here..

They sat next to each other during a Chelsea vs Utd game where they were both left out, got talking, and bonded.

They're waiting for the team to arrive so they can release pictures with the manager etc plus today is Rooney's day. We'll see more tomorrow.

Himself and Lindelof are great additions however we are far from ready for the season. We should really try and convince Griezmann to move this summer, we can't afford to wait for him another year. Griezmann + a solid defensive midfielder and we are looking much better.
This is well and truly dead!...A few people are even including him in their imaginary line ups!

Seeing it like that, it doesn't inspire much confidence in our goalscoring ability.

It's always been like that. I remember when Rooney scored his 100th the next closest to 100 was Berbatov with 12 goals. We had Giggs and Scholes above Rooney but 26 from Mata and 25 from Martial are closer to Rooney's goal tally than anyone we had in 2009.

I wonder if we have to go back decades to when our current top scorer only had 36 goals.

My mind can only go back as far as the mid 80's and it wasn't that low even then, and hasn't been up until now. So no idea how further back we have to go.

To be fair on Rashford and Martial. Rashford is in a little over a season and Tony didn't really play much in the one just gone. Loads of room for improvement but the potential for them numbers to rise a lot.

Valencia has 22 goals in 8 years, Young has 14 goals in 6 years. No wonder so many fans identified them for the chop when LVG took over. I know they now play further back, but they have been wingers for most of their time at United.

Looks like he'll be number 9, apparently he's changed his twitter to RomeluLukaku9? Unless it was always like that. Then please ignore:wenger:
