Alexis Sanchez | Done deal

He just turned 29. He should have another 3 years in him at his peak at least
people said the same about RVP and wasn't even a winger or reliant on pace like Sanchez.

Ive always thought buying wingers or players reliant on pace on big wages when they are close to 30 is not a clever idea.

In any case, even if he fades after getting us a PL, that too our first post Fergie, I think this money is worth that. Feck his age.

RVP had injury problems throughout his career.
your still committing yourself to paying what is likely going to be one of the higest wages in world football a winger coming up to 30 whose reliant on pace.

City look dominat at the moment we want to be building a side for the long term, buying players who a manager can improve, you make signing like this to fill out your ranks when you ready to challange, cos looking at the way thinsgs are by the time where ready to challenge shanchez's best days will be behind him. we should be concentrating on improving Martail and Rashford, both have incredible potential they should be progressing far better then they are we should be asking why and working on that, not buying players who are coming towards then end of their peak.

Martial, Rashford, Fosu, and Romelu are all in their early twenties. It's not like we have old tested vets throughout the team. If want to compete in CL this year, and go for PL next year we need world class players.

He was the main reason United won the league in 2013 - which made his transfer worth it alone. If Sanchez can contribute to a PL or CL in the next three years then it doesn’t matter if he goes to shit after that.

IMO standby is being dropped for the last 3 games, he's been in limbo waiting for a move.
Thinking its about City is worrying yourself without reason

Just seen some tweets from random people saying he'll have a medical tomorrow and quoting that James Cooper guy. Not sure how real that is though.

EDIT- sorry guys think it's a load of shit.

but he wont, as we arn't ready for that yet, and by the time we are he will be past his peak and probably still have years to run on his contract and Rashfords and Martials bright future will be a forgotten.

Hoping we get some indication from Guardiola's post match about the direction of travel.

Was totally convinced there was nothing in this but can't help but be positively moist at the prospect of signing Sanchez now...

Got a feeling Dortmund, Aubameyang and Micky T could be a part of the bigger picture of this transfer by the end of this window.

Post them. People will tell you if they're legit or not then you can remove or keep.

LOL.

disagree, think siging players reliant on pace on insane wages at around 30, will never end well.

So much wrong with this post. He isnt just a pace merchant, hes strong, a brilliant dribbler and has a great scoring rate for a wide forward.

And, how do you know this wont end well? Can you see into the future?

Tbh mate when he posted it it literally said like 18 seconds ago so thought it might have been on SSN but there's no other tweets saying the same so thinking it's shit, edited my last post.

it is when you a tested vet who plays in their position reducing their game time.

im all for buying world class players, buy a world class player who can play number 10 or a right winger, don't buy a near 30 year old left winger.
