I'd rather City win it again, than the scouse.Anyway, one of the city fans actually would prefer us to win it than liverpool.

Better than Luke's?Another club that struggles to regain titles.
Best in PL history, my ass.
Better than Luke's?
Would love it if it was an under-cover United fan who fed them that info.I never knew that story .
I love how the commentator blames the fan that got the math wrong. If City played openly and went for the win they would've probably lost and got relegated anyway. Blue cnuts
People just underestimated getting to 100 premier league points isn't actually an easy thing to do. Man. City could stil finish on 90 + points but likely not to enough to win the league.Another club that struggles to regain titles.
Best in PL history, my ass.
Guessing 300 million pounds. Haven't seen the game or the lineup. What's the sum value of the City players standing around with their thumb up their arse during Newcastle's first goal?
You expect better for the money spent and how good the manager apparently is.1 league title in 3 years for Pep, surely has to be considered a failure considering we have been shite since Fergie left, Chelsea not wanting to score a goal, and somehow Arsenal looking worse than under Wenger.
Spurs obviously don't count because, well it's Spurs.
Exactly, the way Pep was unveiled at City, and the way the media were/are sucking farts out of his arse like a bong is comical all things considered. You expect better for the money spent and how good the manager apparently is.
Youd expect a better return.
They clearly arent, thats just a ABU media pushing that. Any team that wins a treble including the PL is clearly the best PL team in history.Another club that struggles to regain titles.
Best in PL history, my ass.
Had an interested conversation with my grandad and cousin last night over the football. Grandad (City fan), Me & cousin (United fans).
Cousin: Pogba's scored 14 goals in all comps now this season.
Grandad: De Bruyne's got 20.
Cousin: What? He's been injured most of the season.
Grandad: Doesn't matter, he's twice the player Pogba is.
Cousin: Yeah but he hasn't played.
Grandad: So? He's the best in the league.
This went on for about 10 minutes...
I didn't even bother looking. I know he's not played all season so it wasn't an argument I was going to get invested in. For some reason my cousin always bites and vice versa. He's got 2. Small time fans adding a 0 on to everything supporting a club who's finance department try to take a 0 off everything.
Well though I am not doubting he is a good manager his achievements are quite overrated. Let’s look at his CV his first club was the greatest team in football history where I could of coached and they still would have won. Similar to that if Steve Kerr and the warriors it’s a easy job. His second club (Bayern) was the best club in the world at the time and had just won a treble while also being miles ahead of every other club in the league. Never managed to win a CL with them. His 3rd club is the richest club in the world where he can pick any player he wants and give them a blank check to build his “perfect” squad. You expect better for the money spent and how good the manager apparently is.
Youd expect a better return.
Probably just a "Cityzens" promotional drive. You can't get season tickets on Cityzens but you just get priority for tickets as far as I'm aware.Quick question for City fans here, no hate intended, just asking.
I heard a story from someone close to me today, that he visited your stadium last year and on the stadium tour or something like this, some staff members were trying to "recruit" them to dunno what kind of fan club and get them buy season long tickets. (they were presenting various advantages like discounts on airlines if you're a member or something like this)
I'm asking, is it true/close to true or was my acquaintance just hating on you?

Like I said great manager but very overrated. He only won the CL with the greatest side in football history. Compare that to say SAF and Mourinho. SAF built many sides over the year he went to CL finals with Javier Hernandez and berbatov and then some average players mixed in. Mourinho conquered Europe back to back season with Porto. Went to Chelsea dominated England. Went to inter dominated Italy and won a treble. Went to Madrid and put an end to Barcelona dominance and was unlucky not to win a CL. Went back to Chelsea and won the title.
If anyone thinks Pep CV is anyway compareable to SAF and Mourinho that’s just insane.
But the third of those three years isn't over yet?1 league title in 3 years for Pep, surely has to be considered a failure considering we have been shite since Fergie left, Chelsea not wanting to score a goal, and somehow Arsenal looking worse than under Wenger.
Spurs obviously don't count because, well it's Spurs.
So pep stopped Messi from getting injured ? also that was a bit of an exaggeration yes they got 3rd place the year before but that was a freak season with a young Messi still just starting to take the place of Ronaldinho who was fading away. 06/07 they were second only on goal difference and then the 2 years before that they won La Liga. Also no way to tell if Alves would or not have gone there after the fact. The part about Iniesta and Xavi was a myth not the other way around there chemistry that they had is not something that can be taught. Also I am not saying he is a bad coach he is for sure a good coach but he is also very overrated in the sense that for me he is not in the same tier as Mou and SAF in terms of what they accomplished I would say he is a tier under.Funny you say that because he is one of the main reasons that Barca dominated the way they did. I remmeber Spanish media were complaining and saying Iniesta and Xavi couldn't play together. What position did Barca finish before Pep? They had to play a play off to get into the CL ffs. Xavi was about to leave, Messi was injured every 3 months, Pedro and Busquets where playing in third tier, Pique was a sub on our bench, Ronaldinho was the main man in the team stil etc
If any other manager walked into that team the Barcelona we know would simply never have been assembled. Imagine if they went with Mou. He would play a double pivote with Yaya and Keita, Busquets and Pedro would probably have been sold to some 2nd division side and Messi will still be getting injured every 5 months. Xavi would have left because he wouldn't want to play rugby under Mou and Alves would mostly likely never have gone to Barca. The team would be nowhere be as regarded as it is today.
Saying he just walked into the best team is an utter myth. The way they played and dominated as we've seen from City in the EPL has a lot to do with his coaching.
You also said City can get whoever they want, Sanchez, Jorghino Fred, Dani Alves, Mbappe all tell a different story. They have spent like 50/60 mill net more than us and before he came, they came 4th on goal difference! If we didn't fade away He should have been coaching in the Europa League.
Same with my City supporting dad. Especially after a few beers it's impossible to have any unbiased conversation. At least he's humbled since the Sheiks came cos he can't keep calling United a buying team anymore.Had an interested conversation with my grandad and cousin last night over the football. What an absolutely terrible post. I thought we’d dispelled this myth years ago.Well though I am not doubting he is a good manager his achievements are quite overrated. That's actually the most telling part. His miracle-making is diirectly linked to players never getting injured, never getting rotated, never getting tired of pressing, or jaded... Except at Bayern where he fell out with the medical staff. So pep stopped Messi from getting injured ?

You say terrible post but said nothing to discredit it otherwise. You're telling me you can sit here and say that Peps "resume" if you will is better then that of Mou and SAF?What an absolutely terrible post. I thought we’d dispelled this myth years ago.
Whatever you say about it being a myth, the SPanish press complained especially when they didn't win the first few games and during Rijkaards time they said the same thing. After Pep left coaches of lesser quality or Dare I say very little quality coached Barca and they were still above everyone else. He had a fantastically "easy" route to success.
It’s a pointless argument to have as it’s been done so many times. Just look back through past threads about Guardiola if you want to see the “Pep had an easy job at Barça” and “Pep was a failure at Bayern” arguments refuted. You say terrible post but said nothing to discredit it otherwise. You're telling me you can sit here and say that Peps "resume" if you will is better then that of Mou and SAF?
Even they seem surprised.

You had to put Cup Final tickets on general sale to try & shift them. Highly likely to be a lot of Chelsea in the City end.Tweet

why do you give him no credit for creating the greatest side in football history? you do know Chelsea haven't sold out right? You had to put Cup Final tickets on general sale to try & shift them. Highly likely to be a lot of Chelsea in the City end.
