Very good game. Had to defend a lot considering the injury crisis and succeded in it, controlled the tempo of the game. Another assist registered.

First half wasn't in the game enough. Good performance in the 2nd half, perhaps might have got his header on target from Dalot's cross shortly after half-time. His free-kick was decent, intelligent play for his assist for Young's goal.

I thought he had to cover for Fred alot, so good performance from him and contributed offensively as well. Future MUFC captain.

Wasn’t a meg, they just got to the ball first.

He had a good solid match.
He looked to be standing dead still in the penalty box. Was other end of the ground so view not great. What was he doing?

The ball pinballed around a bit and he went to poke a leg at it but they just reacted first. schlupp was already moving so got there first.

Agree with others on here, he looked tired to me but he still worked hard and defended well.

I don't like his new hair cut. I can smile at any style he chooses but something about that bleached blond look has always irritated me, no matter who was wearing it. Probably a point for the "Little things that really annoy you" thread.

Grow out a 3 foot afro, then sculpt it into a Christmas tree replete with dyed tinsel I could admire, even out of season, but short and bleached blonde, no go.

Looked tired, rumours that he is carrying a knock but soldiered though it and made the goal that killed it.

He was afraid he might give away a pen if he went for the ball full blooded, was my understanding.

What an absolute beast of a player. Insanely good. I love how Ole is managing him, not just compared to Mourinho but like on a high level tactically to get the best out of him. This was an off day for Pogba and he still managed to deliver an assist as well as work as a defensive midfielder without the ball. Great!

Mostly quiet tonight but still effective. If this is how he's going to be on an off night then I'm more than happy.

Would like a bit more positional discipline from him and OGS.

It's absolutely fine he's allowed to drift and play between the lines because he's our best player but I would to see him to sit a bit and dictate more of the play. It would mean less running for him and more control for the team, which in turn would probably lead to less running for everyone else.

Can't argue with his end product and hussle though.

Clearly it's something Solskjaer has spoken with him about and allows/wants him to do, but I think he drifts onto the wing slightly too often. Occasionally, yes, it's a useful way to find space and avoid all the man-marking he gets these days. But it's also a good way of reducing his own impact on the match. I like to see him bossing the centre of the pitch. No-one else will do it for us, it needs to be him.

Very good performance. With Herrera and Matic out, he is playing deeper role. Defensively he was good and again made good contribution in the attack.

Looked a bit off, must've been tired as other mentioned.

It's gonna be close to impossible to rest him with Herrera and Matic gone though.

Even with Matic and Herrera it is almost impossible to rest him. He is too good to be replaced. He is so much better than any other of our midfielders.

He is an absolute supreme player. Not at his best but still positively effecting the game.

Add one or 2 key players to this side and we could be special with Pogba involved.

He’s gonna get rested by force for PSG anyway.

Pogba: Played 25 PL games, 11 goals and 9 assists.
Silva: Played 24 PL games, 6 goals and 4 assists.
Erikssen: Played 25 PL games, 5 goals and 9 assists.
Ramsey: Played 23 PL games, 2 goals and 6 assists.

The guy is an animal, that's also playing most of the season under Mou where he was often sub or playing deeper. His stats are pretty identical to Hazard who has played a game more and has +1 goal and assist. New breed of CM/AM

I've heard we've signed his twin Spanish cousin Saul Sogba and he might make an appearance.
Change the second ‘s’ to a ‘d’ and that’s actually a poster on here

To be fair, Pogs and his brothers look so alike that we can probably list one of them as the player starting, and actually play Paul. That’s a strategy we should look into next season just in case Paul gets suspended for a big match.

Tired performance, but still was our best midfielder! I'd like to be able to give him a rest, but at least with PSG he'll get that.

Working hard for the team. Got a nice assist to put the game to bed. Probably should have scored a headed goal (lets be honest, he missed cos he coloured his hair :P ).

I’m stealing that.
This, my friend, is the wrong mindset to have. You should never go into life thinking you'll d'oh up like dipstick over here. Pray you'll never need it.

He looks tired. Glad he'll have a rest when we face PSG.
Agreed. I don't have any stats to back it up but it looks like he is getting through a ton of work. He is everywhere. Since the injuries he is playing deeper and doing more work defensively.
