Lando was disappointing though, Mclaren needed him to pick up some points for the constructers today.

Feck sake.

A Russell Perez Ocon podium would have been great..

Red Bull have got to give Perez a drive next year.

If I was Red Bull I'd give Perez Albon's seat next year how have no teams signed him?

Could Perez get a penalty after the race though for that incident at the start?

Doubt it given Leclerc admitted it was his fault. He had a 10 second advantage as well.

I should be happy for Perez, a driver I admire. But I'm just gutted for George.

Looked like he might recover from the pit screwup, then something else went wrong. Just horrible

Delighted for Pérez, deserves a win.

Mercedes you deserve a jolly good slap.

Delighted for Perez. If he doesn’t get a seat next year it’ll be criminal. Gutted for George though.
Perez crying shows what it means to him.

Lots of celebrations with the guys who just sacked him

Stroll in third. Maybe I'm just a hater but I hardly remember him doing anything all race

Monza was another Mercedes feck up. I think such a short lap caught them out, double stack is very hard to properly lay out but they are obsessed with making sure both drivers have the same strategy.

Perez needs to go in that Red Bull next season

Lovely to see their celebrations and Ocon's but feel so sorry for Russell

Makes the nepotism at racing point look even worse now. They've sacked a race winner with much more points to keep hold of daddies boy

F1 is a lot more fun without Hamilton winning on the first lap. Though I suppose Russell was winning this on the first lap until Merc took him out :houllier:

To be honest it was load of bad luck for George, I am fully expecting him to get a penalty for the tyre mixup as well !

But I reckon the biggest loser of this is Bottas, got shown up by George today.

Mercedes have absolutely fecked this for both their drivers.
Hamilton may well have told them that he was staying out. But a puncture is a random problem.
Russell might get another chance but he has shown the world what he is capable of.

Racing Point are by far my least favourite team, so it's annoying they've got 3rd, but happy for Perez at least.
