Was fresh and playing on the left, hardly a surprise that he had a good game.

Great game from him. Looked so good against a side considered the best. He is becoming very consistent against the better teams which is a good sign for the future.

Did he go off injured at the end though?

Was obvious from the start he's gonna have a great game.

Lovely stuff from him today.

Much, much better today. Helps that he's playing on the left, he looks lost on the right. More of this please.

It's been abundantly clear all season that he's by far our best option off the left. If inferior players need game time then they are the ones who need to play out of position. Hopefully it's the last of sacrificing Rashford.

Thought this was one of his best ever United performances. Very mature in terms of understanding his role and knowing when to hold his position to find space, and and when to be on the move. It’s becoming ever more evident that he’s up there with the best we have had at his age.

Rooney turned 23 in 08/09 and got a combined 33 goals and assists in 49 appearances (0.67 per game). Rashford turned 23 this season and has got 25 combined goals and assists so far in 31 appearances (0.81 per game). We’ve got an absolute, elite player on our hands here.

Williams will be having nightmares of Rashford for quite some time.

Really great performance from him.

Brilliant performance - he’s been working on that long pass - nailed it today.

Brilliant goal, unbelievable assist, and a constant threat all game. I don't want to see him anywhere other than that left flank. Hopefully this gives Greenwood a bit of confidence, and Cavani and Martial can fight it out for the CF role.

Hope the injury is just precautionary, I reckon he'll be Ok.

One of the best games this season.

People forget that he was poor on the left this season hence why he got shifted to the right, it was the right decision by Ole as playing on the other side has helped his all round game and decision making. We didn't see the usual Rashford where he kept coming on his right and shoot today which was refreshing to see.

Had a quiet few weeks, but back to his best today. Liverpool's backline couldn't handle his speed and skill. Hope the injury isn't too bad.

Brilliant game. He was looking dangerous each time on counter. Hope he is fine.

Trent hates playing against him and for good reason
I said exactly that in the pre-game match a few days ago.

I think TAA has even come out and said Rashford is the best player he played against and also his first game against us at Old Trafford (a few years back), Rashford brought him back to reality.

edit: There you go:

A rested Rashford on the left against TAA is important. He has TAA's number and we missed a trick there in the Anfield game to exploit his poor form.

I hope he's ok, he's so dangerous for us. He reminds me of Ronaldo when squaring up to defenders, they don't know whether to commit or to back off. He's not even in great form.

Brilliant today. But as someone else mentioned, there is something about his attitude that worries me slightly. He used to show a lot of enthusiasm and emotion on the pitch but now he looks surly and uninterested. Pretty low-key reaction to what was potentially a game-winning goal against Liverpool. Although if he keeps playing like today, it's not a problem.
Maybe injuries on his mind. We can't judge attitude from the sidelines

Quiet enough second half but he tore them apart first half. Him in form wins us games.

Was in Diet Ronaldo mode today, brilliant! Made all the right decisions and proves yet again that he has so much in his locker.

Haters gotta do what’s hardwired into their DNA, but Rashy put in a very solid performance today.
