Literally have a Foreign Minister who went to do some Thatcher cosplay and made things even worse.

Anyone who plays Football Manager has better knowledge of the geography of Europe than our Cabinet.
How incompetent can one government be!!! Absolute embarrassment.

I mean, Russia are playing the game, but our lot are getting schooled, they have the playing skills of Harry Maguire as last man on the halfway line.

Global Britain.

Anyone who voted for these charlatans is directly contributing to Britain's demise.

The worst thing isn't the result It's that anyone thought it was a good idea to send her. I can only imagine it was pushed by someone who wanted her out of the picture come the next leadership election.

I'd love to see a Thick of It spin off just based around her character.

Thank goodness she's not black and called Diane or the press would be about to become relentless.
And that is a perfect summary of the fact that image is now far more important than substance.

she's a little tied up backing Jezbollah in telling Ukraine its their fault for wanting to be able to choose what they do

I absolutely love the fact you are sharing Guido Fawkes images again. Never change mate. Never change.

It says a lot about the overconfidence of Brits abroad that one Twitter user thought Truss simply failed to recognise the word "oblast". Truss literally made the opposite assumption, neither of which is correct.

It gets exhausting pointing out the double standards applied to left-wing and right-wing politicians but suffice to say that if a left-wing Labour politician had gone to Russia and been photographed in Red Square wearing a vaguely Russian-style hat half the tabloids would be calling for them to be executed for treason by now.

Wasn’t sure whether to put this here or in the Met Police thread.

A questionnaire... type of thing you do at school to get other people opinions.
But not if you are really wanting to get the actual facts.
This is the Met, so why should we be surprised.
Doubt that Boris will actually fill in his questionnaire.
Someone in his team will concoct his responses, as opposed to the real truth.

Another forum I use has been up in arms about Starmer holding a gala dinner with Gary Neville and north west Labour at £70 a ticket going towards fundraising. Lots of talk about how it is a sign of the party not caring about the working class and Starmer being out of touch. Until it was noted when Corbyn held his gala dinner the tickets were priced at £65 and now the people complaining are being called hypocrites and disingenous. Meanwhile a tory party gala dinner would probably be north of £100 I imagine. And probably somewhere swanky in London.

Nonsense, the working class are famous for attending 'gala dinners', keeping coal in the bath, and letting whippets eat at the table, I'm sure it wont be long before Starmer is into pigeon-racing and be seen eating tripe and onions for his tea (sorry his dinner).:)

Wouldn't surprise me. Whether he'll ever popular I'm not sure but they only need him to be a useful idiot for the next year or two so his replacement doesn't get too exposed.
