What a hustle : Give us the billions, invest for us but let us keep dividends and voting rights.

Categorically no, please. The only good thing to come out that sale -because I don't fancy whoever is buying- is to at least get them out. If they're sitting on the board you know all their cronies and the management paralysis will continue to linger on even longer than it has rights to be.

Looks like Sir Jim leaking the news to warn up the market that they are about to pull the offer

I wish there was a deal where SJ and SJR, together could kneecap these bottom feeders into submission.

Jim should quite rightly tell them feck off in this scenario. He is already being far too generous to them by allowing them to stay on in some capacity. No way should these pricks be allowed to have any say in the club's future going forward. They couldn't oversee making a cup of tea.

Something else just came to mind there…Qualcomm signed a partnership/sponsorship deal with the Mercedes F1 team earlier this year, and the Snapdragon logo appears on the car.

I would think that if a sale is still on the table, things like the SnapDragon/Qualcomm deal is being used to show the enduring commercial appeal of the club, even when fortunes on the pitch are poor. It's not so much about the financial impact of the deal (an extra 30M over three years), it's about illustrating that the club's commercial appeal is only growing, rather than diminishing despite a barren few years on the pitch. This is all just leverage for the Glazers. Saying, we are happy to hold on to it, because even if we win nothing and run it like a clusterfeck (see last decade), we will still make more money every year....so up your offer or we are staying. It's all brinkmanship in my estimation. Just like everything they do, it's a long drawn out, attritional process; but I have little doubts that the exit strategy has begun. It's just a question of how long it will take. Months? Years? Hard to tell with these cnuts. But they'll be gone by 2025 at worst I'd guess. This was triggered as soon as the ESL got squashed.

Jamie Jackson has spoken. Saying Ratcliffe is confident that Glazers want to sell. Jassim not so confident, but he said that before.

It wasn't that long ago that Jamie was quoting SJR as saying that he had spoken to the Glazers and United was not for sale. I don't think the scum have ever said anything more than they are "exploring" strategic alternatives."

I agree with those saying the shirt sponsor is purely a way to drive up the price of the club. It's a way to quantify the commercial value and why they should up their bids. We shall see if it happens and we get a sale in the next 3 years.... ha!

It’s BAU and nothing else. Adding £10m per season does nothing to move the price of a club they already have offers for double its enterprise value.

Anybody that supports a Jim bid that keeps the Glazers around in ANY capacity is a utter cvnt .. don’t like Qatar? Fair enough and I admire your stoicism in rejecting it but the only reason I want Qatar to win is not a shiny new toy every window but the fact that the fvcking pond life are finally out of our club..if Jim had announced he would be taking full control and the twats would be history then he would 100% be my choice, but he’s not so fvck him and fvck the Glazers

A bit disingenuous. Of course you want whoever takes over to succeed. 'Anyone but the Glazers' means you want a consortium of Peter Ridsdale, Peter Johnson, Mike Ashley and Peter Swales to take over. Way too many Peters, there.

If de Brun is correct, Ineos do not want the Glazers to have any say into how the club is run. No voting shares. Nothing. Take your cash and do one. The caveat is they'll still enrich themselves, but no matter the outcome, this is going to happen.

Qatar winning will see Woodward pocket a cool 14 million alone.

Furthermore, and I know this isn't as exciting as a tight PL run-in and 'owning the scousers', but Qatar will use United as PR for their repressive, autocratic regime. Human rights matter.

Mind, I don't want Ratcliffe to take over at all, I think he is a devious, unscrupulous liar, but he is up against a state bid, so I'd expect no holds barred.
