How good is Pereira and how good can he get? I've not seen him at youth level, just the first team appearances. Is his potential really that high? In terms of potential at youth level, is he comparable to Rossi/Pogba?

Martial is a striker too. I don't see the issue especially if we are going to play 1 striker up top most the time.

He certainly lost some explosiveness after 2006 but I would say he changed to a different player after his injury against Bayern.

How fast is he really? I don't quite see the frightening pace of Henry but he seems as quick as say an Anelka in his prime.

Is it realistic to expect him to stay for more than this season now? Or is this just a case for him to inevitably leave still and we can get a decent fee next summer?

Why are we selling him? He showed last season for Sporting that all he needs is a bit of confidence and he can still be a very good winger. Di Maria does not look any better out wide than Nani.

Sometimes I forget what a talent we have on our hands. Just looking at the Sterling thread, we easily overlook the fact we also have someone with similar potential on our hands. (Obviously Sterling is much more advance in his development right now) Seriously hope we don't mess this one up...
