Apparently he got dumped by his megastar Chilean girlfriend. Explains a lot

At best he's been average, more often than not its been like playing with 10 men though. wouldn't be fussed if he left. Shame as he seems a decent lad.
I was thinking that up until we stuck him up front, he's not perfect there by any means but he offers something different. If he continues doing well up top then I'd keep him, it's only been two games though so we don't have a massive sample size just yet. Fingers crossed.

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...
If he does leave, I'd rank this signing in the same bracket as ADM - which is odd, because the ADM signing (and time as a Utd player) was so weird that I didn't think I'd see another similar signing like it.

But thus far, Sanchez and ADM's signing and time here have felt very similar.

He needs a big performance in a truly big game, and further still, he needs a role in the team that is his own (CF is his best bet I would say).

As for rumours, he doesn't seem like a quitter to me. Continues to work bollocks off.

Was superb the other night in the lone striker role too, the story is quite clearly bollox peddled by City, I mean:

Manchester City have not had the best of weeks off the pitch, but their chairman Khaldoon al-Mubarak could be forgiven for raising a wry smile when he watches Alexis Sánchez take to the field at...

How on Earth can a story about Alexis being unhappy at United start with City being delighted they didn't sign him

If Sanchez plays back to his level at no.9, we will be fighting for the league with city.

Hirst is pretty reliable. Screw Alexis anyway, this is Martial FC and there's absolutely nothing this Chilean fraud can do about it.

Edit: Reading the full article, interesting that other than De Gea, Lukaku and Mata he doesn't socialise with anyone else in the dressing room. No wonder he doesn't look like he fits in.
His English isn't great so that's why he sticks to the Spainish speaking corner. Rojo is the same.

Arsenal were very much perfect for him. He was the main man, he could play however he wanted and go unnoticed because of shitter players around him and the fans loved him. He's just another player at this club. He seemed to fit the big fish in a small pond role.
The only time he played consistently shit for Arsenal was in the final few months and pretty much everyone noticed. He never got to how bad he was at Arsenal during the few months of this season, the guy is simply coming towards the end of his career at an elite level which isn't surprising given the number of games he has played.

Came off v. Juve with a dead leg.
So that extra 60 minutes from the start of the game to him coming on was enough for him to recover?

Was odd seeing him on the right when he came on too. I know we had Lukaku on at that stage, so it was pretty much the only place he could be put, but that says a lot about us as a team.

She's alright.

He could probably do better.
I don’t buy that. It didn’t affect Aguero when he split with Maradonna’s daughter. Sanchez moans about fridges next to his seat in the changing room for Christ’s sake. £500k per week and that’s all he can come up with. United have been a soft touch since SAF retired when it comes to wages. Where is the ‘Street fighter’? Sulks most games. Best get rid in January.

If its true he must be a real prick, apparently nobody liked him at Arse either. It probably doesn't help that our young lads like Martial more who he pushed out of the team for a while. Not sure why the South American/Spanish contingent don't like him.

All those posters who were praising his attitude against Martial's are quiet now, aren't they?

Let him go and spend all his wages on Dembele. Or Veratti. Or Rabiot. Would also keep Adidas sweet if we're constantly replacing our number 7.

Good riddance honestly. I do like the idea that he's been so terrible in his time here that he's been benched despite being our highest paid player and it's somehow our loss/fault that he wants to leave.

I’d be glad to get him off the wage bill, he’s nowhere near good enough to warrant his ridiculous salary. He can go to PSG and coast to a nice and easy Ligue 1 title.

Annoyingly though he plays 2 good games in a row, then gets dropped. No consistency. Lukaku will be back after the break and Sanchez will probably be put back to LW :nervous:

Aye, is nowhere near enough for sure, but we're delighted with Martial and it's only been six games, it has to go both ways. Both are currently playing like we should expect of United players.
Not really. Martial has been excellent. Sanchez has done the bare minimum/put out acceptable peformances for a couple of games.

Hopefully both do well but it's not really comparable.

Wouldn't mind that at all.

Of course it would be great if he returned to form and tore it up in the PL but he's been awful for us with only a few decent outings of late.

I thought it was a unfair to sub him off at Bournemouth and Juve he was having good games leading the line and how he didn't start the derby I have no clue.

He's just not Jose's type of forward, not big enough.
