Didn't he have a head injury in the last game? He came off looking quite dazed. Before we start complaining about his "injury-proneness", are we sure has has not suffered a concussion?
The reality is we never get told what injury the player has when they first sustain it.Didn't he have a head injury in the last game? He came off looking quite dazed. Before we start complaining about his "injury-proneness", are we sure has has not suffered a concussion?
To be fair he jogs around in a daze most weeks mateDidn't he have a head injury in the last game? He came off looking quite dazed. Before we start complaining about his "injury-proneness", are we sure has has not suffered a concussion?
Nah, muscle problem.Didn't he have a head injury in the last game? He came off looking quite dazed. Before we start complaining about his "injury-proneness", are we sure has has not suffered a concussion?
Mourinho wasted years of his development.Mourinho was right.
We sold that scorer because he wanted to leave and wasn't bothered enough to train with the team all summer. And to think, we sold a proven scorer to give Martial an extended run. Jeez, the whole hierarchy needs to be sacked.
Should have gone for another striker then. His little niggles and muscle problems were known before. We sold that scorer because he wanted to leave and wasn't bothered enough to train with the team all summer.
While we are at it, our brilliant coach made him play on the wings before he even reached the conclusion that he would like to leave. We sold that scorer because he wanted to leave and wasn't bothered enough to train with the team all summer.
Of course we should but that's beside the point.Should have gone for another striker then. His little niggles and muscle problems were known before.
That was after not scoring for over a dozen games up front. While we are at it, our brilliant coach made him play on the wings before he even reached the conclusion that he would like to leave.
The guy was planning his move in 2018, Ole has little to do with it, we can blame the club for not bringing someone and not selling Lukaku quickly enough though. And it's for an other thread. While we are at it, our brilliant coach made him play on the wings before he even reached the conclusion that he would like to leave.
Good to see our current starter scoring freely .That was after not scoring for over a dozen games up front.
Planning is the key word though. He downed his tools in the summer after he was frozen out and not during the season. The guy was planning his move in 2018, Ole has little to do with it, we can blame the club for not bringing someone and not selling Lukaku quickly enough though. He downed his tools when Mourinho was our manager, don't try to rewrite history. You don't even need to do that in order to justify your point about Martial, availability is the most important attribute and a player that is often injured is useless that's enough, no need to go out of your way to defend a player that was planning his move with his new agent in December 2018.Planning is the key word though. He downed his tools in the summer after he was frozen out and not during the season.
If he was trusted enough, he would have stayed
He doesn't need competition, he needs to be a back up for both rashford and the new striker we get. We need a guy that can be in the box when chances are created, but can also provide a presence holding the ball up for our wide players. Martial can do the second part somewhat effectively, but his lack of goalscorers instinct and unwillingness/inability to make the right runs means he can never be the no.9 for this club.I repeat people were arguing a couple weeks ago we shouldn’t sign competition for him. Ridiculous.
This is unbelievable. Forces our hand in January at least (one would think)
Is this the head of our medical team?Another muscle injury, seriously the medical team need sacking.
When did down his tools during the season ? Did he even say anything against the club or manager ? Looks like you might be the one rewriting history. He downed his tools when Mourinho was our manager, don't try to rewrite history. Neither one of them will play.Could really use him (and our other Frenchman) in the derby. Better time than any in recent years to face City. Their defence is fecked and Aguero is out. We need to capitalise, and a fit Martial alongside our other two front men will cause them major problems.
State of thisWasn't missed no surprise . Just hope we get a half decent offer for him
The going is always tough. Hopefully your replacement is immune to injury, or at least has better selection to ensure he picks his injury for Brighton at home.Whenever the tough gets going Martial goes missing, no surprise he's come down with an injury with games against Spurs and City and then the hectic festive period to come
Feck him off and get a proper number 9 in
Yeah he did train with the team during the summer, went to an open session and he was there and training. I’m amazed how people make crap up to prove a point that is based on a lie.We sold that scorer because he wanted to leave and wasn't bothered enough to train with the team all summer.
