Same with every attacker at the position. You either played or were played wrongly because CR couldn't be removed. We'd bring on Rashford for a midfielder and lose our playing shape.
Last game was almost a callback to the amount of distorted logic needed to justify Ronaldo as our full time CF. We almost have to unsettle everything to accommodate it. Rashford just played as a 10 in a game Ronaldo's performance gave us every right to yank him. This is the same trajectory of events where everyone loses form or ends up disgruntled. When Rashford, Sancho and Bruno have their forms fall off a cliff CR fans will be right on time to tell us how he's carrying them. These guys weren't playing great or anything but we could at least fit them into a template that could get the team better results and performances.
