What? He's never going to improve without actually playing and pre-season is the best time to do that. He's undoubtedly a better player than Lingard and Rooney so we should be giving him time to prove that. For me he looked underwhelming in his outings and deservedly got no minutes today.
Rooney yes. Lingard no. I find Mkhi a strange signing because hes a 10 but Pogba will be used as an attacking 8.. so their positions will clash. What? He played on the right for Dortmund and he is a better player than Lingard who I'm pretty sure will never have a season like Mkhitaryan's last year.Rooney yes. Lingard no. I find Mkhi a strange signing because hes a 10 but Pogba will be used as an attacking 8.. so their positions will clash.
He needs to really improve his play out wide to get into the first XI.
After one gloried friendly. Calm down will ya.It's early early days but if fear he could be Cudradoed. Bought by José for a large sum but given little leeway to play into the team.
Like someone said it isnt an ability issue. Dortmund play a different style.. and he usually occupies very central areas at Dortmund whereas we need width. I'm sure he will overcome this and become the player we need. Lingard is a better tactical fit right now but it could change in a month or even earlier. He played on the right for Dortmund and he is a better player than Lingard who I'm pretty sure will never have a season like Mkhitaryan's last year.
I know, that's why I added an extra early in there. But still it's unsettling, 6 subs, Lingard injured and Rooney playing like a pub player and he gets one minute. After one gloried friendly. Calm down will ya.
ThisHe's been superb, a big improvement on Rooney so far.
Lingard offers movement that Mkhitaryan doesn't. We lack that. Mickey should be eyeing Rooney's spot. He will have to win his place though. He played on the right for Dortmund and he is a better player than Lingard who I'm pretty sure will never have a season like Mkhitaryan's last year.
Why would we "bitch"?Bitchy comments from Dortmund in 3...2...
I was joking after the shite that came out from Dortmund about Kagawa being misused. You're a precious bunch. Why would we "bitch"?
I would wager the majority of the Dortmund supporters wants him to fail at United after the way he left the club. At most there will be people who see him neutrally now (that is the camp I find myself in most of the time).
It was still surprising to me that he did not start today and even moreso that he did not come on earlier as the team really cried out for some speed IMO.
Well, he was but that was only a small reason why it did not work out. Kagawa was a different case, though. Dortmund supporters actually hoped for him to fulfill his dream in the EPL as he was always honest about his goal to play there eventually. He never stopped being a crowd favourite.I was joking after the shite that came out from Dortmund about Kagawa being misused. You're a precious bunch.
And the 5th place man utd stuff when we signed him.I was joking after the shite that came out from Dortmund about Kagawa being misused. You're a precious bunch.
How exactly let me ask? If it would be a fair contest Mkhicky wouldn't be one to win the place.Lingard offers movement that Mkhitaryan doesn't. We lack that. Mickey should be eyeing Rooney's spot. He will have to win his place though.
So you are saying that because Mkhitaryan has hipster status among some fans and had one great season at Dortmund then he should come along take the club captains place, just like that? He hasn't done much in preseason either and Jose is looking at the players close up.How exactly let me ask? If it would be a fair contest Mkhicky wouldn't be one to win the place.
Is this a joke?He needs to up his game big time, Mou isnt happy with him.
Appears than Lingard is well and truly ahead of him at the moment, strange as he was class against Wigan (has he really been that bad in the other games?)I really hope he starts against Bournemouth. Out with the old, in with the new!
Romero could play #10 better than Rooney. If he can play #10 though he has got to be better than Rooney.
