This is poor from India. They should have been aiming at 380-400 from the halfway point, now they're struggling to get 320.
Don't think this is a 380 pitch. Even Bairstow said that during their innings too it was not as easy to hit the old ball on this pitch. But we should have gotten 340-350 for sure.

Too harsh to go after DK, surely? Very difficult situation to walk into for your first taste of the WC. He should rotate strike and leave it to Dhoni.
Dhoni's state of mind is in the final overs is becoming borderline pathetic.

And there you go, DK going for a big shot gets out.

Only thing more annoying than a wicket falling is seeing that fan dressed as a tiger.

Think the pitch has slowed down a bit with batsmen finding it difficult to hit those cutter.

 Every shot is stupid if it gets you out.
 Not really.
Pandya was a good bowl, not sure where you got stupid shot from (feck off)
Kholi one was just stupid considering he needed to support pant not be the hitter.
Sweeping against a long boundary/ in form bowler is always stupid regardless of whether its a six or out.
I'll give you Rohit one but still wasn't needed.

Shots weren't stupid because they got out but it was not smart cricket thats what made those shots stupid.

Stalker? :nervous:

This score is too big for Bangladesh against India's bowling imo

Under 300 doable but over will be too hard.

At least he scored 35 off 33, imagine him getting out in the final having scored 2 from 10 balls. He's becoming a liability

India will win comfortably as its difficult chasing and Bangladesh will struggle against Bumrah and Kumar. But Dhoni is doing his best to make it a contest

Still might be overly harsh, the pitch does become difficult a bit when the ball becomes older.

Red Card for Casemiro!

I think this low score was unavoidable, to be honest. DK could have been sent in ahead of Dhoni (or even Pandya, but that's understandable) to help him settle. But in that case Dhoni would have come in late and eaten up balls while trying to settle and lost his wicket in the end anyways. Lose-lose situation.

If we don't drop Dhoni, there is nothing we can do to improve our last 10 overs.

Edit: there goes Dhoni

Poor India it's not as if they have 4 WKs in their team that they need to play Dhoni

Decent total (shit considering where we were), Don't see them chasing this vs our bowlers.

Even when DK skied it, Dhoni didn't cross over, what's happening to him? He was very good in the IPL barely few months back. Forget orange, India should wear a yellow jersey

Think India have enough runs anyway, but they made a total mess of the last part of that innings.
Credits to Bangladesh, they bowled well. Also the pitch seems to have slowed down a bit, Indians need to focus on bowling them cutters, especially Bhuvi

If Bangladesh get off to a flyer, it might just be ON..

They do bat deep..

We are still favorites.. Solid bowling attack.
