Taylor isn't past him prime. He average 70+ this year. It is just that he has never been a big game player. Pads his stats in other matches and flops when it counts. Watch him score a century now though :nervous:
Nah, Taylor's had a poor World Cup, but the two years leading up to this he's been in ridiculous form.
Wow, didn’t know that. Now I’m scared :nervous:

Not sure how the score predictor works, but its showing NZ are on course to get 246..

They'll take it..

NZ need an AJ Turner at Mohali like once in a lifetime innings from someone now

They've reached the semi finals but I'd still say this has been a pretty awful World Cup for New Zealand.

They've been mostly terrible, especially against the good sides.

The only way any of this makes sense if the pitch is absolutely dog shit to bat on.. or that NZ are on the take.

Hope these drops don’t cost much. Both Taylor and Neesham dropped
Cutters seem to be the way to go on this pitch. Should have tried to score more in the early overs, it’s has been difficult to score in the later part of the innings throughout the tournament

12 overs .. 120 gets them to 265.
Even that wont be enough.. India are playing an extra batsman too.

Pretty much.

Boult, Ferguson, Williamson and Neesham have had good tournaments. The rest have been nonentities.

Only team that can stop India now are probably the Aussies.

This is not a 300 pitch or maybe even 280 could be a winning total but NZ have messed up their tactics big time. Had they shown a bit more ambition they could have been on course to reach 250. Now they have to bat their skins out to reach 250 plus.

It clearly isn't great (or NZ don't think it's great) and India have clearly bowled well, but the lack of intensity is what's inexcusable. Yeah it's tough, but rotate the strike, run hard, put pressure on the fielders and generally try and upset India's rhythm.

What's with Dhoni? He has winced about a dozen times this match. That finger that got cut against England still hurting?

Give them a flat wicket with nothing happening off the pitch and no one can stop England
Australia are a completely different beast when it comes to big games. Have they ever lost a final?

As for England a lot depends on the pitch and toss, they also have been poor in finals.

Pandya and Chahal have two overs each, think NZ will be targeting those overs

Aussies are different class. Haven't lost a world cup SF ever.

Yeah, surely not the only team that actually beat them in this World Cup.
Huge difference between group and final. If England get to the final watch how they fold.

Seems ages since weve seen a boundary. NZ need to be trying to get them though.

And 3 overs left from the 9 remaining gonna be by Bumrah.
Kumar economy been really good so far too.

Rain about to come. As per met it will rain heavily for 5 hours so we may not see any more cricket today once it starts.
