Why put labels on anyone based on ethnicity?

For good reason too. One of the biggest names we've ever signed, could he be the biggest? The most complete midfielder around and still nowhere close to his peak. Can't remember the last time we've signed this type of player, usually is Madrid/Barca that gets them.
