Pep's system is such that one player not on the wavelength would stand out and break a lot of attacks.. Hopefully there's one of them each week

Wolves have been phenomenal this game. Never looked scared or defeatist. Even managed to look like they could take all 3 in the end.

Funnily enough, you've missed out Rashford and Martial. Even Lingard depending on what we start with.
Martial was a starter last game. Yeah you have a point on Rashford, I'd probably have Lingard as a midfielder rather than attacker tbh in our set up. Still Rashford, Martial, Lingard and Fellaini are way below Sane, Jesus and Mahrez...

I've seen him being called one of the defenders in PL history a lot recently. Personally I think he's far from it. Nowhere near the likes of Rio, Vidic, Terry, Adams, Carvalho.
It a ridiculous suggestion. He's been very inconsistent and on top of that he's been injured far too often. Some pundits act like his 2011-2012 season was the norm.

A fantastic defender at his best but we haven't seen enough of that.

Said it on first day, Wolves will be very fun to play against, different from these crap bus parking midtable teams.

Traore was the best player in the championship last season by far. Wolves did their homework and it will pay off in the long run

Phew! Well played Wolves. Hope more teams can take a few pointers from this game to deny City.

Would have kept Sterling on. Not been his best game but feel they're always more likely to get late winners with him on.

Well done Wolves. Need someone to stop Liverpool now. Would enjoy this result more if Liverpool weren't likely to be the biggest beneficiaries.

Type of game City grinded out last season. Like is pretty obvious, they arent getting 100 points this season, though theyll still be up there and the but favourites. Expecting much more of a challenge for the title this season....just not from us

Mahrez has been shite too
Really struggled since joining City in like every game. Culture shock from joining a side which allowed such offensive freedom, I think. Leicester would defend super deep and give him buckets of space to utilise.

Freak goal, pen not given, hit the bar 3 times but Wolves were still worth a point. Good game, can't see Wolves struggle too much on the back of that performance.

Germany or City, Sane should always start huh?

Well, if we can get the job done against Spurs, at least we will be sort of back in it, for however long it lasts.
