Watch Brighton absolutely roll over and get thumped 5-1 to this lot.
It won't be because they're 'rolling over', they likely just won't be able to handle Liverpool's intensity, few teams can when they're in full flow. When the likes of Salah and Mane are running at you, and you also have Keita/Wijnaldum/Firmino etc pressing like mad, it's difficult not to retreat in to your shell.

Teams just can't handle it, it's scary.

He's done fantastic work. Brought Bournemouth up from league 1, established them as a Premier League side, and has them playing good football while doing it. Spent money but not really that much, especially compared to plenty who have failed. Easily the best English manager around right now.

People hammer him for being naive, but far as I'm concerned it's better than sticking 10 men behind the ball every game and hoping for the best. Sure, it leads to some hammerings but that's inevitable with the quality he has available.
Not only that, but his first stint at the club he saved them from relegation from league 2, despite starting on -17 points and a transfer embargo. Got them promoted to league 1 the following year. Was at Burnley from January 2011-October 2012 then back to Bournemouth for the 2 promotions in 3 years.

Brighton are shocking away from home (2 wins, 5 draws, 12 defeats - so 11 points from a possible 57). Liverpool should be winning this 3 or 4-0.

Why did we sell Welbeck again? It been fours years and we have yet to find a decent replacement for him.
Ah the obligatory post after Welbeck either scores one of his 3 or 4 goals a season!

Watching Wolves and City just emphasises just how important a role one’s fullbacks play these days sigh

He's absolute dirt. Also has had a ton of injury problems.

The only reason he scored today was because very kindly the West Ham players took pity on his goalscoring record and decided to give him a boost by allowing him about 5 minutes to turn and shoot in the box.

99% sure Brighton will get a battering. Didn't they get destroyed home and away by them last season?

Salah is 100% going to score a hat trick on the way to giving the best performance of his career to date.

100% guaranteed.

He'd be getting absolute murders on here if he was still part of our ongoing underwhelmingness.

I am not wetting my pants or predicting the apocalyptic end of all eternity until after they've got the eighth goal at least.

8 minutes in and Liverpool has created more chances than we did all game.

Don't forget we were trailing for the most parts of the game.

What are the odds on David Moyes coming in as saviour of West Ham for second season running. Be funny.
