Did anybody ever seriously consider him a 'leader'? The guy's an idiot. Idiots aren't leaders.
His leadership ability was summed up in the 5-3 against Leicester, early on after he was made Captain by Van Gaal. Shouting and screaming at all of his young team mates, after conceding a goal caused by him giving the ball away.

Seems Fergie wanting to get rid back in 2012(?) was spot on.
I wouldn't be surprised if he spoke with Mourinho about him and let his thoughts be known.

An absolute "scouser"

In every way.

Wage thief, and loathsome idiot. Sincerely hope Jose banishes him from the squad. Furthermore I hope he's made to train with the kids till he fecks off. 9 months of work now relies on knockout footie.

I can forgive poor play, but that?

Really nothing left to say anymore. So far from even being a Premier League player that it's laughable.

He'll play again this season because of injuries, but thank feck he's not going to be here next season.

Was hardly gifted. It was a class fecking free kick. Granted it was a stupid free kick to give away, Sigurdsson still had to finish it.
Maybe so but it was a ridiculous foul, not to mention that he was absolutely terrible the whole game. He offers nothing.

This should be his last game for Man Utd. The 'leader', the 'experience' giving away a ridiculous and needless free kick outside the box, despite knowing the other team has a set piece specialist. Mourinho should take the blame for picking him.

Liability. Had to score the second and then gave a silly freekick away.

Free kicks for Sigurdsson at the edge of the box is like a penalty. Rooney should have known better. There was no justification at all for him to foul that player. That was irresponsible of him. If that was Fellaini, you would be cursing him.

What utter stupidity to give away the foul. There's no difference between him and Tom Carroll. In fact, Carroll may even be better than him.

If only he had other choices... Mourinho his best 11 doesnt include Wayne Rooney.

I blame Mourinho for this, this isn't rooneys fault, when you know his shit and play him then it's the man who chose to play him should be criticised.

Enough now. Unless we're getting penalties, he offers nothing. Can't believe the needless foul he committed that resulted in the goal. Really pathetic.
He needs to go so we don't feel like we need to play him.
He's our captain and when we need him most he rocks up with a nothing performance. Really disappointing.

Take away the penalty (the good) and the bad (the stupid foul leading to the free kick). His main criticism will be that he was sitting in front of Carrick and Herrera, and was completely invisible for the 99% of the match.

He's a striker. Not a good one but that's his position. Mourinho playing him there (injuries or not) was daft.

Mhkitarayan and Mata started on the bench. Could've gone 4-3-3 instead of 4-2-3-1 from the start, I wouldn't have minded Blind going into midfield and Tuaznebe being in the back line. I can't see how Axel would've done worse than the players out there.

Jose had options. He chose Rooney. It was a poor choice.

It was silly to give away the foul, but I'm more incensed by the miss. Should be scoring that all day long to put us 2-0 up and in a comfortable position.
