Not a great performance but three points is still three points and that's what matters.

Sloppy. Glad to see Lucho replace Dani who was simply off but Vidal didn't really provide much more tbh along with playing Busquets. When Busquets doesn't play, the team's shape suffers as does the overall play - no depth at that position for now.

Still, first goal was a beauty that was wrongly called offside

Valencia away to Betis, kicking off. Gary really, really needs a result. Betis are the side in La Liga with by far the worst home record (scoring a meager 7 goals in 10 games and winning only once!).

Two of the worst teams in the league on current form. So far, the game has lived up to its expectations.. or the lack of.

 the ref taking pity on GNev... refuses to give Zahibo a second yellow... twice.. and then they instantly change their sub so it's the spared Zahibo going off. That whole spectacle in the space of 3-4 minutes was pretty hilarious.

Betis immediately score after that sub, but it's disallowed. Such chaos.

Zahibo should have been sent off a while ago. Maybe twice.

Brilliantly apparently. Had one player sent off, could have had a few more and is getting a fair bit of praise on social media
What position is he playing?

Didn't watch but started on right and seems to have been in various positions with him making a few runs down the centre.
Has always impressed at every level. Also, he is very small and skinny so should be a bit of a monster when he fills out a bit.

The Zahibo fiasco was bizarre, even for the shite level of refereeing in Spain...and that's saying something. Hard to take football seriously with that sort of impact in matches

I hope you are right, but the only team that Madrid have hammered away from home this season is Espanyol, and that was back in September.

I swear home teams in Spain try a lot harder against Madrid than they do Barca.

Granada haven't looked like a team in the relegation zone so far. They are fighting.

No. Barca are much harder to shut out then Madrid and that makes it harder to attack more.

Ref is giving every 50-50 to Madrid.

That Navas "tackle" on the Grenada player. Other side of the pitch, that 50-50 would have been a penalty.

Poor pass from Modric put Carvajal in trouble. Had no option but to take the foul.
