I don't get your point... All the more reason to make it all official, surely?
My point is, if he's a United player great! if he's not well it's his choice.

The end of the day it's about men kicking an inflated ball across a pitch into two vertical bars at the other end of a field of grass.

It's not that important in the grand-scheme of things. I'd love Pogba at United, but I won't be bitterly disappointed ruing the day if he isn't.

Yeah, fair enough. But within the confines of the sport if have thought it was worth getting his scrawl on the contract. Especially if it was my job to sort that kind of thing out.

It is, and just because another football team is in the same geographic area for a few fleeting moments doesn't mean anything. The deal has already been concluded, Raoila has done a lot of the ground work at this point.

All parties are in complete agreement, you won't then decline the offer when you are set on the move, you have notified Juventus of your leaving. Made the president have to save face, the public and fans are now resigned to you leaving Juventus.

Allegri already planning you not being in the squad, speaking to players like Pjanic saying this is your role now, Pogba can't just turn around and go "Right I'm staying a year now", he will have egg on his face, the fans won't be so welcoming it's highly unprofessional.

Looking at it from a business perspective, Pogba is getting paid more money at United, Juventus are getting a higher fee. (nearly 2 times the amount in wages and transfer fee), Real Madrid just wouldn't make business sense for both parties.

Factor in the fact that Pogba knows Manchester, he has family still living in Manchester, one of his best friends at Juventus is Evra who loves the club. Pogba saying he still loves Manchester, its deep seeded.

A few minutes in New York even if he met Zidane wouldn't change that. I don't suddenly want to change my career based on speaking to a guy for 5 minutes, it takes months on convincing and Pogba by the looks of reports has been convinced for a long time of joining United.

Reading this makes me feel like the first time I found out Jessica Rabbit wasn't real and was never going to be my girlfriend. :(

It's going to be the United First Never Follows advert. Its going to be the United boys in the kit and then Pogba comes out through the crowd and everyone goes mad, like this... (go to 3:55)

 With Stormzy there on the mic " tell Zidane Shut uppppp"

Fans that spam the official Man Utd account with ''Anounce player X'' deserve to be shot with balls of their own shite. They are the epitomy of the modern day highlight reel, Soccer AM, 'Skillz', 'Ramsey scored 3 goals more than Pogab in 2015 lol meme' type of fan. Horrendous bunch.
Sorry mate, but I think instead of 'skillz' you should really be saying 'tekkers'.

Also, balls of their own shite? Surely someone else's would be better

Another slow day on this front i see. Really is a slow burner and its starting to ruin the whole transfer muppet season because it seems united cant move on to next target until this is closed. Really hope its finished with by sunday because i want to enjoy the football and stop checking redcafe for pogba news every hour.

If this is what the new era is going to be like, then I wish to have no part in it.

We will find out what's going on by the end of the week surely? Once his vacation is over he's either going back to Turin or coming to Manchester for a medical, right?

We know what's going on, he's signing for us after his holiday. There's no real excitement left in the transfer saga itself.

Geuniely think its a done deal, Adidas ad has Stormzy in it. Pogba is following 12 people in total, 4 are Adidas accounts and Stormzy is another one. Its quite a specific list, few French footballers mixed in as well.

At least its more credible than what the journos are spouting.

During the initial stages when it was known Mourinho wanted 4 signings we were being linked to loads of CM's, Matuidi, Matic, etc. The fact those rumours have ceased plus all the non stories coming out on twitter about Pogba means it's done and he will sign once his holiday as finished. My thinking anyway.

I've just seen pogba in a adidas shop in New York filling the back of a suv with 1000s worth of adidas clothes with his friends.
I'd post a picture but don't have privileges.

A long, long time ago, I can still remember how those summers used to make me cry.

I knew if we had our chance, we could make those Muppets dance, and maybe we'd sign Sneijder for a while.

But every season made me shiver, with every transfer we'd deliver: Thiago staying with Pep, Fellaini on the doorstep.

I can't remember if I cried when I read we'd gone in for Depay, but something touched me deep inside, the day the Muppets died.

They were singing: Bye bye to that Paul Pogba guy, RedCafe went into meltdown when the news broke on Sky. Those Madrids boys, dressed him up in all white, singing this'll be the day the thread dies.

Now a new thread for Sneijder on loan, and moss side flat for that boy John Stones...

Latest tweet reporting that he's having his medical on Thursday. So now we're back at 48 hours. It really is Groundpog Day.
Yes, I know the 48 hrs thing was misinterpreted
