I never like Juventus tbh, first because when we were shit in Europe they beat us, when we can beat them, they're still the one to be in the finals. Second, that piece of cheating shite Inzaghi use to play for them.
So feck them

To be fair, he did look fat (for a footballer playing in top league and competitions) during his Napoli UEL game as well. I think it was vs Wolfsburg away but still look pacey playing in counter attacking game. Probably potentially he would be more pacey if he is as fit as any of Leicester players for example.

Still, that pic isn't good, is it?

Really? I dunno.

I'd rather have Pjanic and Higuain than just Pogba. They've done well out of the deal in my opinion, they've got two of the best players in the league for the price of one.
It has got more to do with the fact that they are losing yet another big player despite being a genuine CL contender for 2-3 seasons and absolutely dominating their league. And unlike Bayern, United have had a rough 3 years so for us to just outmuscle them and get their poster boy would hurt even more.

Just see the reaction on here when Madrid try to target one of our players. Even if we end up stronger, we will be fuming.

Don't think anyones pretending otherwise. Doesn't mean we can't laugh at their bitterness, though.

I don't get peoples mindsets of "well we'd be bitter about it so best not laugh".
Don't think he mentioned that we cannot laugh about it. Just pointing out that we would be pissed as well.

They're wishing injury on Pogba. Posting YouTube videos with racial undertones. Classy bunch. They make Bluemoon seem like a decent forum.

Also, there are couple of posters who openly admitted to supporting Barcelona, while Juve were languishing in 7th, a few seasons back, and another one who supported Inter while Mourinho was there. Amazing!

I hope he struggles at Manure becomes frustrated with their continuing downward spiral, severely damages his confidence and developement yet becomes stuck at a team that won't sell him regardless of what he wants. He never wins the CL, an international trophy or the Balon D'or and is left to wonder what could have been for the rest of his life.
That is what you'd expect a 12 year old girl to write in her diary when she sees her crush with some other girl.

Yeah, 100 percent agree that's it.

It is kind of a shame to be fair, they're probably the 4th best team in Europe at the moment so can can understand why they'd be upset. With Pogba they're not even far behind Bayern.

I don't see this being a reflection genuine Juve fans. Juventuz is a worst of the worst collection, some are obviously from the UK who like to put down anything from here and anything from mainland Europe is automatically better. Place will be full of resentment to United. Many will support a handful of mainland European teams and they'll flip flop accordingly.

Hopefully in time we can put the rock back on the ground and forget about lifting it up seeing what was under it a few weeks ago.

I still maintain that their decline started when we beat them in 99

After reading this thread I decided to check their forum for myself and wow, what a mistake. The vitriol, you'd think they are our immediate city rivals and that we have committed several atrocities against them. So odd.

Even in their Evra thread you find posts like "I hope at the end of his time here he's more of a juventino than a supporter of a shite club like united" that post received a reply like "off course he will. we are a loyal club which actually loves this sport and our players. He's so awesome that he makes me forget he used to play for them".

What have we ever done to juventus(aside from 1999)? Such a weird reaction to selling a player. Its not like Pogba was their local youth product who suddenly "betrayed" them or something, this is just a normal transfers one from which they make a lot of moneys and their team is in a good space. I'm struggling to understand their hate/reaction.

They are pissed that it basically confirms that despite their recent success they will never be on a level as us in terms of size and power.

It sure is nice playing in the CL and being best loser once recently and stomping all over Seria A, destroying the competition so there is none, but this is the Premier League the most competitive exciting league in the world. Every player worth his weight in gold wants to prove themselves here.

Wouldn`t it be great if they come 3rd or 4th in their CL group and we meet them in the Europa League!

Well we're likely to lose to them, so it wouldn't exactly be great.
Why? I am confident we can beat Juve with the squad we have bar injuries/fitness problems to the starting XI.

They're acting a bit bratty about Pogba leaving with all the hoping that he flops and/or gets injured, but some of you should go back and re-read the DDG thread from when it looked inevitable he was off. A good few here weren't wishing him well, that's for sure.

Losing your best player makes fans feel scorn and anger. Who knew?

Or Ronaldo. Oh how I laughed when Pep beat Mou's team with their new record signing 5-0 :nervous:

Higuan deserves his wages docking for being in that condition, that's a total disgrace when you consider the money spent on him.

The fact that they're all melting down over this transfer just tells you what a great player we have signed

I doubt DDG is a good example... He was pretty much leaving with as good wishes as you could hope for from the fans. I barely remember anybody blaming him, was only really Madrid that were getting slagged off.

There were more than a few hoping his career flops and/or gets injured. The majority were quite accepting of the circumstances, but there was still plenty of bratty responses.

Let's see how José gets us playing before making these claims, Juventus are a top five team in Europe right now, we finished fifth in the league.
I think we can have more confidence in our team. We have probably the best manager in the world (again) and are investing in world class players.

Just emotional wrecks. Nothing to talk about. Everything will become normal in few days. And it's not like United is their main opposition. They did even worse pinching Higuain from a direct rival. They got shitload of money from a 'potential' great player. They also got Pjanic for nothing. Usual fanboy ramblings.

Most people weren't really pissed at DDG because deep down, we did aware he would likely move back to Spain . Perez on the other hand :nono:, everyone hated him

He only had his medical a week or so ago, Juve must have known his condition or lack there of prior his 1st tubby outing.

They were definitely pissed at DDG. Many felt he screwed us over by not signing a new contract earlier, which weakened United's position. Here's some choice cuts from a sample of just a page and a half from the DDG Contract Situation thread on deadline day(and there was about 50 pages just from deadline day)

Hope he's girlfriend leaves him and the same shit we had to put up with his first two years happen to him at Madrid
Glad the saga is over now and I hope he flops at Madrid.
If it was up to me I'd made the wanker sat as a backup keeper for full year. I hope his career goes tits up at Madrid.
Seeing people actually wishing this cnut well..
Sickening. He's fecked us over, so feck him!!
Everyone rub your cruciate ligament and pray he fecks his on his debut
I hope he absolutely fecking fails at Madrid.

Nobody can deny that he has proper fecked us over after we stood by him through those difficult early months of his time with us.

Refusing to sign a contract extension really put the club in such a difficult position.

At least Ronaldo and even fecking Suarez had the decency to ensure that the selling club didn't get fecked over with a transfer fee.

I hope he rots over there.
Hope he flops. Not even assed that I'm being bitter, hope Barca piss all over Real in the league again.
I dunno why for some reason I thought the prick would change his mind and stay, I'm not one for lashing out at players but feck De Gea, he didn't even have the decency to sign a new contract like Ronaldo did so we could get the real value for him. I hope he gets the same treatment as Bale from the worst fans in the world.
Worse than Madrid has been Dave's behaviour. Don't worry, he'll have fun when the white hankies come out.
Not quite at the level of racism and homophobia of some of the yobs at Juventuz, but it was far from unanimous well-wishing.
