While I think it's unfair to blame Liverpool's positive results on their opponents (fwiw I think 'Pool are making top 4) Chelsea aren't all that, they have the bones of a good team with some extraordinary players, but have some glaring issues imo. We were disgraceful against them and yet managed a draw.
Klopp is an excellent manager, I like the fact there's a strong chance he'll stay at Liverpool for a fair few seasons too, they've become a really entertaining team to watch.
There is always an element of playing teams at the right time - Leicester were poor against us but have since put in 2 good performances and settled down into the season a bit.
It's also probably a good time to play West Ham and Stoke right now.
Sometimes though the opposition were poor because you played so well.
There has always been many comments on here that when Liverpool win it must be because the other team played crap, not that some don't give us any credit either.
I fancied Chelsea for top 3 before the season started and didn't think we would make the top 4. Guess will have to see how it turns out. It's not as if Liverpool have made a start like City have, we aren't in the top 4 as it stands. However, in terms of teams abilities we have had a really difficult start to the season playing just 1 home game in the first 5 and already playing Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea (away), and Leicester (home). That means nothing if we have more bad days like we did against Burnley.
