Cuz, thats his prime position. But he needs martial and someone classy on the wings, Rashford simply isnt good enough.
Eh he's not always been great in the number 10 position either. It always depends on the setup of the opponent as well. Leicester has generally been poor defensively and if you give an active player like Mkhitaryan that much space, he's gonna burn you.
these obvious moments of top class aren't that interesting. The small things he does even when most people emotionally call it shit (because there is no obvious) -that is a class!

Much better today. But our form seems to rely on him playing well now. Mata and Rashford aren't good enough to give us a lift on Mkhitaryans off days. Martial needs to get going desperately.
What i will say is that I'd like to see more cutting edge from Mkhitaryan against teams that are compact. That's what really sets apart the good from the great. This game was ideal for him.

We desperately need a fast tricky right winger to take some attention off him and give him some space. Mata is great but when he plays on the right they just get in each others way more often than not.
Saying that though when it works, they can score some lovely goals.

MOTM today and an amazing player but it keeps baffling me how can a player have as sublime first touch, passing and control as he has, but so bad finishing
He's better than Pogba. If you want a player to be the most advanced midfielder it's him over Pogba. He's better as a 10 than out wide too.

I think it's just the type of player. Mkhitaryan has the pace the run past players and to turn nothing into something. Even if you have an amazing player who is able to dictate the game from deep it's quite natural to say the tricky, quick player who can also play the killer pass is better than him.

Excellent from Mkhi. He's great in the number 10 role when he can roam around the pitch.
What a reactionary post. Mkhitaryan has had his share of poor games just like Pogba had his fair share of outstanding games. Mkhitaryan is more mature in his game but then again the unpredictable is part of what makes Pogba great.
