I hadn't watched much of Athletic this season;they looked resilient tonight, but really lacking in quality in the final third.
Valverde has mentioned the fact that they are not scoring goals and it is a worry. They are creating chances but cannot put them away.

Good news, Fernando Torres has undergone a cranial and cervical CT. There are no alterations nor traumatic injuries. He's conscious and lucid, he will spend the night in hospital for observation as per medical protocol.

That was scary. Hard to watch. Glad it's looking good for him now.
His teammates and opponents reactions alone show how serious the incident was. I'm glad he is apparently in full recovery and I'm pleased at how quick everyone reacted.
Horrible clash but thankfully people reacted so quickly. Hope he has a speedy recovery, I hate seeing that kind of thing happen to any player.
