It is a bloody poor game. These teams are just not that good this season. Feels really dull that Barcelona will have this wrapped up so early. Same with City potentially. Think Serie A might be the league with a good title race this season.

On the plus side, big improvements from Kroos and Marcelo

On the other hand, Modric is a shadow and our strikers are dire

Isco needs to come inside and try to score on his own imho

One thing I always liked is watching Real Madrid and hope that they feck up or you get some upset against them. This season it is no fun since they are not that great. I bloody miss that!

Isco has the potential to be the best in the world in a few years but he loves the ball too much, constantly takes longer than what he needs and plays the wrong final ball. I'd gladly watch 90 minutes of him just dribbling the ball but he needs to be more effective with it to take an extra step.

That one camera shot showing 6 defenders surrounding Benzema and Ronaldo, with no one else being able to score in the acres of space remaining shows what's not working....how many crosses to 1 of those 6 defenders will there be before they try something else?

The fancy touches are pretty and all, but if the midfield can't 1) get the ball to Benzema and Ronaldo, or 2) score themselves, they aren't doing their job. Ray Hudson just babbles on about pretty moves, but isn't bothered about whether the move achieves anything.

Draw would be a huge result for Barca. Also gives Valencia to open a 6 point gap (and they've played some tough teams).

Should be 1-0

I agree ,and I think that
before it was much worse, but is gradually correcting it,what has helped to reach this level

I thought Carrasco had improved in the last years, but today he's playing like he did at Monaco

The Ronaldo decline is real.

He's looked awful whenever I've watched him this season bar the Dortmund game.

Atlético are miserable to watch these days. Not unlikely that we don't see them in the CL next season.

Boring Madrid derbies with 0-0 scorelines make me fly.

He looked awful today? He's playing much better than he was at the same time last season, just missing the goals.

10 points clear now! Not an unexpected result this though. Madrid are poor this year and Atleti as shit as ever. Carrassco is unbelievably brainless.

Tbf, Madrid were robbed of 2 penalties and a red for Correa. Almost all important decisions went Atletico's way.
