woeful again. not worth 100k per week never mind being the highest earner at the club. Needs to be moved on in the summer as Martial, Rashford and Lingard are all clearly better

It's a cliché but it feels like he has 'lost his spark' or something like that.

Worked hard today though

Not going to criticise him as apart from the goal, all the forwards were terrible

Said it before and I’ll say it again, he’s not a LW anymore. He can’t go past players with his burst of speed because he’s lost that.

His only position is on the right in a free-ish role like Lingard plays.

He's Rooney when Rooney became shit.

Physically he seems shot, which has affected his all-round play too. Best possible case for us is if we somehow manage to get rid of him in the summer. China, strike again, please!

Poor enough today. But our final ball was very sloppy in general.

Most of the team looked wrecked today.

Under a tree.
The whole front line was pretty poor today but he was being used as a scapegoat, he was not worse than anyone else, that said he's a shell of what he used to be, no way we should be paying him the amount of money for what we are getting.

His legs are gone and with them his pace and agility which were his biggest assets. We need to get rid of this horrible contract .

Its not happening for him, he lost pace and right now he’s not even the shadow of what he used to be.

I dont know how we are going to cut our losses with him, for how long was he signed?

Its like having past prime rooney again

Pure rubbish, desperation signing and pretty much sums up Mourinho's appointment.....catastrophic.

This move isn't going to work . There's no connection with the rest of the team. He started sharp enough but ineffective again.

Very much in latter day Rooney territory here, he's lost a couple of yards of pace and his acceleration, it doesn't help that he's also sloppy in possession.

It's been a year and he's still no better. I just hope we can find a club stupid enough to buy him.

I don't think his problem is his lack of pace, it's the fact that he just can not find a red shirt, be it a simple ball or a complex one.
He is the sloppiest player on the ball I've seen in a long time, and I can't understand how he's ended up how he has, it's a shame.

He gives you the impression that he can’t kick the ball properly.

Shades of Rooney, minus the shooting technique. Blew his opportunity today.

Off the ball he actually made some nice runs but both marcus and Jesse were too selfish and chose to shoot instead. Otherwise, he was just awful. My biggest worry is not being able to ship him in the summer. :nervous:

Weird in that he seemed the most creative out of that front 3 and he was trying some really nice things that were either cut out or Lingard was just being Lingard. There were a few moments where he showed his skill but after that Sanchez of old would have powered away, this one looks like he is carrying a couple of bags of sand.

Sanchez is just coming back from injury and i thought he looked a lot fitter today. He had more of a burst about him. His movement was much sharper.

He was absolutely let down by his teammates today though. I was pissed when Lingard, Young & Rashford refused to pass to him in the final third.

Ole needs to sort them out.

Has he played even one good game in the 12 months he’s been with us? I can’t think of a single one which is damning. Utterly shit and a complete waste of resources at this point.

He was better than Lingard, who was horrendous today. He should take his place on the RW or not play at all.
Anything for a pop at Lingard. Lingard was shit today but so was Alexis and he's the one who's had the worst season among our forwards

Im never one to put down our players, but he's not good enough.

We should be looking to offload him in the summer.

He's not a winger. We need to replace him with someone who can take players on.

I thought it was funny when people questioned his age? Another example that for most, 30 IS the start of physical and/or mental decline in top sport

Think we are stuck with him for the forseeable future unless a Chinese club comes in. We have no choice but to give him minutes and hope he sorts himself out.

Think it's fair to say he won't make it here, even though I thought he would under Ole. Just seems to have lost something. Maybe he played too much football over the last few years and his legs have gone. Does seem to be like the Rooney situation again tbh. Quite sad too, I was over the moon when we signed him.

He is such a weird player, any pass he attempts be it simple or long never comes off, it's always the case.

Should have been 1vs1 twice, but for Rashford and Lingard. The responses here are not surprising, though. Some people are for whatever reasons regarded as French football "experts" while at the same their only contribution in other threads is calling everyone shite. An absolute joke.
