Well you kinda intimated it.
A number of reasons. . . His agent [the same guy that represents Caf fave Haaland. Oh & no one had an issue with VdBs agent going on record a few times.]? The fact he talks to the press on international breaks [multiple players we’ve signed have had to speak openly about wanting to join the club to force a move, has never been a problem then]? The fact he hasn’t lived up to the price tag [no argument there, he’s underachieved]?
We’ve got a few problems for the next manager, him leaving certainly settles the fan circus though.
I’d argue our £80mil captain is the worst type of modern footballer, but it’s a game of opinions.
Again, most posters think he should go. I just find the sensationalism with Pogba a tad disingenuous. He’s ‘the worst type of modern day footballer’, despite winning everywhere else but here during a down period for the club.
I suppose I’m just reiterating what
@kouroux is saying. It’s possible to see that Pogba hasn’t particularly succeeded in his time here without pretending he’s the worst thing since sliced bread. The criticism just becomes overly personal & vitriolic.
I’d have far more time for posters if they just admitted the whole situation has hurt them as a United fan instead of exaggerating about his agent, his comments etc.
