He had this aura about him tonight where the Forest players didn't fancy themselves against him whatsoever. He was so good in all departments. So calm, physical, intelligent.
He looks great. My only worry is whether he'll be happy playing 2nd fiddle to McT and Fred when they're both fit.

His fitness level is quite something which I guess shouldn't be a surprise after years of playing around 60 odd matches for Madrid a season.

Yep, probably better than prime Carrick, but it is more of a realization of effectively a 10 year period without a true stabilizing presence in the middle. Matic had a few months in his first season before his legs were going, Pogba was always too erratic.
