Has there ever been a bigger blessing in disguise than his suspension for the semi final on Sunday?

I’d honestly rather have a midfielder play in defence than this guy.

Get ready to learn Chinese, buddy.

If people think that I will ever apologize for everything I have already said about Maguire, take a seat now because you will wait for a VERY long time. De Gea will get very harsh criticism from me, but Maguire takes the cake on the first Sevilla goal.

@SadlerMUFC delusion will tell us he’s great with his stupid stats. As soon as Maguire doesn’t play a team rooted to the bottom of the premier league we look an embarrassment.

This guy should never step foot on a pitch for us again, never mind captaining the side. It’s like giving the opposition a one goal lead before a balls even been kicked. He literally makes a major error every game he plays.

The first goal was both him and De Gea but regardless, he makes the entire team worse every time he plays. Has to go ASAP.

Fecking hate his style and his deluded ego. He is slow, plays slow and has the worst trait of any CB touching the ball 300 times and runs into spaces already occupied by other players only to turn back and pass it to the keeper. Useless

Literally turns the entire team into spanners by just being there. Will only ever do well at a team who plays 3 CBs or spends their time rooted to their 18 yard line for 90 minutes. Shouldn't ever play for this club again regardless of our injury crisis in defence.

feck him and Sancho then.

If Chelsea don't take Maguire, then I hope we sell him on the cheap to a Chinese club. That's about his caliber right now.

This was doing my head in. The few occasions that he actually dribbled forwards he would panic as he approached anyone and turn completely around to pass back to De Gea or square to Lindelof

Isn't with Maguire on 0-5 (0-3 today and 0-2 last game)?
Yes, That tweet was at half time. It got worse.

Every time the guy plays we look a complete mess at the back but we have idiots here who tell us it isn’t his fault and always someone else. The truth is the guy is a recipe for disaster. You don’t even have to look at other matches. Just this tie alone. With Varane and Martinez we were in complete control of the tie in one of the most comfortable games we’ve had this season. Maguire’s introduction in the first leg brings the chaos.

Literally?
I took out the literally before I saw your reply but on second thoughts, perhaps.

His malignant and continually growing shit style of play metastasises to the rest of the squad.

Continuing on with him will only decrease our quality of life, weaken us and send us all to an early grave.

I’m an oncologist.

Solid explanation in simple terms.

Ole`s captain, what a joke, symbol of that reign.

After everything before tonights clown fiesta, we still have muppets on high horses having a cheek to come out and call others not real supporters for having a go at others, specially at him.

It's like he and De Gea have a constant competition going to put the other one in an awkward situation as possible whenever one of them have the ball.

Please can we have a 2 for the price of one deal and send the Glaziers and Maguire packing in the same taxi.? They are made for each other drop them in Ukraine, the Russians would give up after 24hrs of chaos.

The worst part is that after the first goal he was so scared to make a mistake that he hoofed it as soon as possible.

Martinez can pass like Carrick. Huge gulf in class.

What should he have done for the first goal? If he was Rio Ferdinand he could have twisted past the two closing players or something but for an average defender that's a really tough position to put him in. Again most of the criticism is on Maguire and not De Gea.

I reckon he could have turned it he was capable. But we know he wasn't and knew what he was doing and that didn't change when the players surrounded him. Sevilla trapped us in that situation.

Teams who have better goalkeepers who try to play out the back don't always pass it to the closest guy, they have the ability to spread the ball.

Maguire overestimates his own ability. I think he was good in his second season and we missed him in the Europa final that year. But since that injury he's been horrific for us.

I'm not sure I follow. If we know Maguire is slow on the turn surely DDG, the guy who is literally responsible to build the attack foundation when we have the ball should know that.

What makes him think the only option right now is to give Maguire a pathetic slow pass like that surrounded by 3 players? Obviously Maguire has his weaknesses and he panicked but the blame here seems simple enough for me

Justified again why United's jersey with his name is not on display (or sale) at the Old Trafford megastore. One will be a brave man to wear anything with his name behind.
