Oh you boys are just setting yourself up for disappointment. The reason there has been no news is because they don't want to cause a massive shit storm in the off season when there is no football to distract people. They will announce that no one has met their valuation just before the season starts and people will whinge but quickly simmer down once a few games have been won.
They dont even have to announce anything.
Just let the stalemate be. Until they decide something - most likely a minority stake sale a year down the line

I cannot imagine them announcing that they are staying on the eve of the new season, they surely must know that could be incredibly counter productive and potentially lead to the cancellation of the first home games, the unrest could get ugly, I still don't see how they can stay at the club in any capacity, they have had a great run, but it is over for them now.

Oh my sweet summer child. This is the Glazers we're talking about they absoulutely would do something like that without hesitation

Just in from WHERE? fecking pathologically defective attention seeking lying arseholes.
Exactly!
If the 2 bidders don’t know anything then how does Sky suddenly know something?
I think just an assumption that as nothing seems to be moving then everyone is slowly coming around to what we all thought was unthinkable a few months ago…..they are not selling…. at this time.

Manchester United are receptive to negotiating a loan deal with an obligation to buy Dean Henderson with Nottingham Forest as long as they bank the fee by the January transfer window. by @samuelluckhurst

end of glazers fairly soon.

Fun read. Had a quick look at some pages.
Some of my favourites:

- Anelka saying a few days before the final how he would rather play us 10 times than Barca because they know us from the league and know how to play against us

- A Celtic fan wishing us luck as we are a great club with great tradition and play fantastic football whereas Chelsea are the Rangers of London

- A United fan posting Fergie got the line-up right for once

- Some United fans were actually suggesting/hoping Fergie would leave at least one of Carrick/Hargreaves/Tevez out as they preferred other players to start

- Someone asking for the line-up 120 hours before kick-off

- People posting we can’t do anything without drama

- People posting that it was the best day of their lives

- People laughing at Peter Kenyon collecting his loser’s medal

We need to stop pretending the Glazers have given a single feck about any ownership-focused protests.

They needed a club representative to lead the teams out. Peter Kenyon was Chelseas. Sir Bobby Charlton was ours. I dont know how anyone on earth could have wanted Chelsea to beat us that day. The difference in class was so big.

Great to see Beckham come out and make a statement. We need more of this from ex players.

So much of Utd’s appeal now comes from the past - it will be increasingly difficult for the Glazers if those past, well Loved legends are telling them to leave.
Yeah would love to believe Becks words could make these leeches take Jassim's offer

They do when it stops games.
It never has. The retrospective claiming that a protest against the Super League was about the ownership is a nonsense. It was the biggest protest but there were a series at different clubs at the same time.

Maybe just maybe they are delaying the announcement so that we complete majority of our transfers to avoid the absolute rinsing by every club for our targets? Because it’s gone awfully quiet regarding the sale for many weeks.
Again would like to believe this was true

No one said it was about the ownership, but stopping the game was huge because it was no longer just noise.

I really think they're going to see what Ten Hag can pull off this season and make a decision based on that. If we exceed expectations again it gives them a path to keep the club.

Good point. Also it’s about time some news are shared with the fans. Might be something in it from Kaveh.

That may be it but to what end then? If no one was biting at 6bn what makes them think someone will at 10bn in a decade's time? I think they are holding on to a unrealistic valuation and the only way from now could be down and that's sad for the club.

I don’t think so. They will do a full sale or at least a partial sale.

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...

Of course not, but it increases pressure on them, that’s something.

And if more players who supposedly Love the club did the same it would make it more difficult for them to keep treating fans and the club so badly with literally no come back.

Wonder if we'll see a similar downward revision of ambitions if SJR purchased us :wenger:
