I'm sure he's happy though, after all his issue was that Arrivabene was a marketer, not an engineer and now they've got an engineer as TP it's fixed all their issues...

Looking forward to the race and with good chance of rain should be make for interesting day. Most of us know in the wets Hammy different league and theirs only Vanstappen who can give him a race.

Well we know one thing for sure.
Last years car was not legal.
They must have used some form of devices that allowed a higher fuel flow.
Half a second may not seem that much to some people.
But if you express it as a distance, over a lap average of 120mph, that comes out at 170 feet.
Well it's not a huge secret, the engine wasn't in line with the regulations for last year. The car was completely designed around the power output of that engine, reduce the power and you lose the downforce performance. This isn't a quick fix for Ferrari either, you need to completely overhaul that engine and with another year to go before the new regulations it would be stupid to invest in it. The answer for Ferrari isn't sackings either, but to prepare for 2022.
Agreed with this. I’m guessing they’ve thrown in the towel on this & next year and are focussing on the new regs completely.
I cant argue with your logic, this year they are rubbish, some races last season unbeatable.

The 'race' at the front is fecking dire as usual. There is nothing Max can do behind those Merc cars.

He was telling him he can’t use push mode on his engine against Lewis, same for Lewis vs Bottas. Hamilton is managing the race again clearly, he pushes when he needs to but not until then.

I had exactly the same thought.
Imo Max is the best driver on the track, his battles with Lewis would be epic if the sport was remotely competitive. It doesn't seem a bad Red Bull and have given them a good engine, but the Merc is just on another level
This red flag is tough on Gasly, his strategy on the hard's looked fantastic
