Someone in the back didn't read the traffic and just went in a little hard on the throttle, will be interesting to see who that culprit is.

Sainz was involved (no fault of his own) in two dangerous accidents in half a lap. Glad he isn't seriously hurt

Not too sure Bottas did too much wrong there. Drivers often back the pack together before launching. What was different was how late he left it to go.

Still not too sure from the onboards, but Latifi seemed to bolt way before anyone else and slam the breaks on causing mayhem behind. Wouldn’t be surprised if he gets the biggest slap on the wrist for this.

Not really, no.

It's how most of the restarts in F2/3 happened this weekend, it's on the drivers behind IMO not Bottas.
I have to agree. Bottas has to protect his lead. Plus he’s done nothing illegal. Only thing I’d say is the lack of track experience hasn’t helped on this occasion for everyone.

2 red flags in 2 weeks! Crazy! That second crash was absolutely insane. Very lucky everyone is okay.

Was so looking forward to this race. Shared the excitement of of the drivers re the track and within a manner of a few laps its pretty much done already imho. Unpredictability is nice - but not when it leads to a bunch of crashes that cause cars to drop out.

What a mess that was - the rules need changing ASAP. The fact they’re allowed to weave half way down the main straight is just plain stupid, the back markers can’t see anything happening in front.

theres no reason for them to not have the safety car line end before the last corner.

Is that what it means though.
Or does it mean safety car is in and the race can start?

Doesn't mean the race has actually started
Sainz has just been interviewed and he thought the race had restarted. He was doing 280kph off that last turn.

What cars at the back can see though is cars in front of them still going x/mph.
The one person to blame is the one who decided to floor it, who I think so far is Latifi.

Nobody else did

Russell up to 10th would love to see him get a point...you have to think Vettel catches him though.

On the other hand, we haven't had a 1/4 of a lap yet, doubt these 14 all finish

Missed the start of the race but saw the massive restart crash, this is making things more exciting, obviously provided no one gets hurt.

Hopefully we get even more excitement throughout the race

I think it will be a cleaner race now from here on. Bottas better have a good start.
