Dont play as well as a team. But dont get it twisted, Barca have had games like today too and have just nicked it. Barcelona have more get out of jail cards in their deck.

its not only barca, Atletico is better then them. Most overrated team in history of sports, absolutely love it how people always automatically put real in Elite teams just because its Real with the squad of flashy names.

Madrid are considered amongst the elite teams of the last few years because they always get to the semi finals of the CL every season (and won it in 2014). Only Barcelona and Bayern have been better than Madrid over the last 5 seasons.
They're not out of the title race, because they still have a game against Barcelona. Anything can still happen, and I have seen stranger things happen in La Liga (for example the 2006-2007 season).
Real Madrid are still better than pretty much all the other European teams around, what they lack at the moment is consistency, and probably the belief that they can still win the league. That's mainly the coach's job.
They're 9 behind but it's basically 10 as they aren't going to overturn the 4-0 H2H record. Not a chance they come back from that.
They need to focus on getting ahead of Atlético before trying to compete with Barça.
