Ronaldo's Mum Eh?
Ronaldo is shite
Still more than 24 hours away
why is that funny?
That's a good one.
FOX Sports 1which TV channel in America will show this?
Yes had it for a couple of holland gamesI have to say bravo for the match day set-up, Niall. I haven't seen it yet (don't know if you used it on WC games or not), and it's fantastic.
That's a great idea.Great work on the matchday section
@Niall I have a query/request - on the top right, where it says "Kick-off:<time>", would it be possible to add a countdown timer which gets activated let's say 24 hours before kick off? This would help people across timezone's to figure out their day's schedule.
Something like:
Kick-off in HH:MM mins
The kick off time shows the local time for the user.Great work on the matchday section

I didn't know this. Sorry. The kick off time shows the local time for the user.
It is
for me. That is the kick off time in IndiaCode:Date:Thu, 24 July 2014Kick-off:8:36 am
It's bitter laughter, we don't get MUTV in the States and I think the chances of a pre-season game being covered are about zero.why is that funny?
I had thought of that but felt it unnecessary. Who is going to sit watching a countdown?!Great work on the matchday section

I think a timezone indicator would be great, I would probably assume the time listed was local time.I had thought of that but felt it unnecessary. Who is going to sit watching a countdown?!
And the match won't automatically progress to 'In Progress' when the countdown hits 0. A Match Day admin has to trigger this manually. Matches rarely kick-off at the exact second anyway.
The kick-off time is relative to your current location, so I think it's enough. I'll look at adding the timezone beside it at some point so it's more clear, e.g. 20:06 PST.
I hope so. But i've already said that i don't think any WC players will start in this match....so M.Keane + EvansAnyone reckon Keane will get a start here? Could see LvG being a fan, and this is as good a game as any for him to start.
Edit: Michael
It's on Fox Sports 1 though. It's bitter laughter, we don't get MUTV in the States and I think the chances of a pre-season game being covered are about zero.
Though I do recall a Chelsea vs. MLS All-Stars pre-season game making it onto ESPN.
I hadn't thought about the possibility of manual work involved. Great job on this!I had thought of that but felt it unnecessary. Who is going to sit watching a countdown?!

And by 'at some point' I obviously meant right now!I'll look at adding the timezone beside it at some point so it's more clear, e.g. 20:06 PST.
Well, don't I feel silly now. It's on Fox Sports 1 though.

According to the official site's fixture list it's 4:06am:@Niall I thought kick off was at 3.30am BST? And also is there any way match clocks/time are going to be incorporated in the match updates? Also, how come there are newbies posting in here again?
Newbies and main members share the match discussions, just like the World Cup forum. Also, how come there are newbies posting in here again?
Brave decision. Thank feck we aren't in Europe. We won't have to face the possibility of an influx of Gala fans/WUMs. A few Scousers might slip through, mind.Newbies and main members share the match discussions, just like the World Cup forum.
Maintaining two separate match discussions just ain't worth it.
What could possibly go wrong?!

Something to do with American television according to MUTV.Any reason for the kick-off time? Six minutes past?
That's a bit too much data to track, but maybe in the future. Will the player profiles also track assists? I noticed that isn't on their profiles currently.
