So good to see Del Potro back playing at this level though, fantastic stuff from both.

The level of quality in all sports this Olympics has been unreal. That match epitomised it. Andy Murray what an absolute player, Del Potro showed so much heart. One of the best games of tennis in so long.

5 (well actually 6) Gold Medals confirmed in one day. Brilliant. Super Sunday indeed.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeees

Incredible match. Del Potro was unbelievable no idea how he managed to pull that performance out of the bag.

Murray the first man (person?) to retain their Olympic title. What a player.

So much emotion from both sides on that. Real shame for Del Potro but Murray's a really tremendous athlete and deserved that all over.

Great embrace between the two at the end because that was a hell of a slog for them both. Heartbreaking that either had to lose, hopefully Del Potro can stay fit now because he's a great addition to tennis.

I hope he goes through to the end in the final. With a good start, a WR isn't outside the realm of possibilities..

Bolt and Zlatan should hook up for a competition on who can look the least nonplussed while absolutely destroying the opposition.

Murray is fantastic.

Hope Bolt wipes the floor with Gatlin.

Linford Christie is still the British record holder for the 100m at 9.87, Bolt just beat that even after easing off

If Kurt Angle took his straps down prior to the gun, I reckon he could run a 8.9. I mean, if he could Angle Slam The Big Show...
