More insults and aren't you a mod as well? I have not took a personal shot at anyone despite being baited by more than one person, your own rules state - remain respectful to other posters.
He was criticizing the post and not the poster. Maybe he should have used the word "lumpy" to be clearer.

Not at all. Having an opinion is absolutely your right. I don't get all the not wanting to see United anymore if a player signs. That's what is a bit sad tbh. We have had worse signings and I am baffled how signing a young striker is the one which breaks the proverbial camel's back.
We've been awful to watch for years but I was holding out hope that after the Zlatan stop gap we'd move in a more fluid and modern direction, now we are going to buy a player who I don't think is anyhere near good enough and whose considerable limitations necessitate the type of football I don't want to see United playing, and it's not short term.

Yes, I hate the route we are going and £75M on this type of striker is the final straw as we'll be stuck with him for years.
So you're not a United supporter, you're just a fan of the sport of football in general, you mean?

Does anyone know when United will announce their tour squad?

You'd think they'll want an announcement out before that

Does it need to be his mug and his body? If not, then scroll up and relax.
I did until I noticed the awful photoshop job.

(Tone difference around his voice box) I reckon that's Bailly under there.

Please fill me in?

If we had agreed a deal it would have been announced by now.

We haven't and could still lose him to Chelsea.

If we are due to fly tomorrow, then why are we dragging it out ?
Not really. Utd will want to ensure they are ready to market this appropriately. That takes time. They'll also be waiting to do medical

I didn't insult you, I insulted your position. Stopping watching United because we've signed a player you don't particularly rate is pathetic. If that observation is hurtful to you then I can't help you with that.

And no, I'm not a mod.

Nope, not a foreign fan, I don't see why where I am from should be a factor, there were plenty of Manchester born reds that walked out with the Glazer takover and chose to support Salford City.

Ok then, I still think it's a cheap way around the rules to insult another poster but that's that.

Not buying that. Look at arsenal you still knew the deal was done, before the crappy little videos.

Player quality is really going down hill to where clubs are having to pay fortunes for good to decent players, not exceptional talent.

They dont HAVE to announce it before they fly out. Whats the big deal? He is in LA. We are going to America anyway. He can just join up anytime.
So it's not done then.

I don't see any reason not to announce anything , unless it's not agreed.

Which would suggest we might end up dropping a huge bollock.

If he signs I don't really care to be honest, there's plenty of other football to watch.
I thought supporters supported the club no matter who plays for the club? I am not thrilled about watching Fellaini or Lingard play but still have to see every match and love every minute of it and support everyone playing for this great club, cause we want thismclub to have success?

I don't understand why some of our fans love to panic and feels we're going to lose any transfer. The deal is done. Even those reporters who denied it yeasterday withdrew their claims today. Let the official things take its time and let the club announce it at the proper time.

So let me tell you that buying even Messi won't change it. You should have stopped following the moment Mourinho signed for us since it was obvious the way we will play.

So we dropped interest in Morata because we thought we had agreed a deal for Lukaku, but actually hadn't.

Now we are having to pay more for Lukaku and are still at risk at losing him Chelsea.

fecking amateur hour.
correction there are rumors that we have dropped interest in Morata, just as there were rumors about how interested we may have been in him, all the while it being pretty quiet about us being interested in Lukaku. The changes in price we are reading about, well nobody knows for sure if they are true or not.

Overall, just a lot of assumptions being made based on things that may or may not be true.

Success without quality football isn't worth anything IMO, but each to their own.

I read this and then instantly thought of Andy Cole. You would have said the exact same thing in regard to the price and being stuck with his play style.

 Christ, this thread really went full retard. I'm expecting 'my dad can beat your dad' comments any second now.

Is there a digital equivalent to a nuclear bomb? This thread needs one.

Your are spending an awful lot of time talking about a club you are claiming to not support anymore. If you are really moving on, why not just move on then?

You're probably right, I watched his press conference where he talked about building a different type of team to his past ones as he understood the profile of team needed at United, and I bought into it, should have known he was full of shit and that is my fault.
