Berizzo seems to be fired. Sevilla FC official radio channel has confirmed it.

The rumours say following alternatives for the Sevilla manager role:

Pelegrini
Rudy Garcia
Laurent Blanc
Luis Enrique
Tuchel
--

More to follow! Sevilla will have press conference any minute.
Javi Gracia too.Who would you like?

Thanks for correcting me; it is Javi Garcia and not Rudy Garcia:)

I would prefer anyone on that list except for Blanc. I really don't want to see Blanc in Sevilla FC. I have no idea about Javi Garcia's resume, but I'd be optimistic. I would not mind any of the other three alternatives.

He is officially fired. Shame it did not work out, wish him all the best. I hope he has much strength to get through his battles off the field.

I am sure you know about Javi Gracia, Nervión,he was at Málaga a couple of seasons ago, although I don't know how he did in Rubin Kazan.
I think L.Enrique could be a good option and Tuchel too

Apperantly he had to leave Kazan after they finished at 9th place in Russia. But I guess he did ok at Malaga, since they finished at midtable when he was there.

Yeah, I think those Luis Enrique and Tuchel are the best alternatives, but it may be more likely that we'll get Javi Garcia.
But we'll see! The first game for any manager we choose will be el derbi:nervous:

It's funny that every time the Clasico is on, they often have Atletico vs the budgies at the same time. Like a Loser's Clasico, or something. An UnClasico.

Poor run of form but shameful from the club to sack Berizzo after his diagnosis, I loved his Celta teams - thought there was potential there to do something special with Sevilla

Terrible timing too in CL, a tough spot to come in for a coach. Garcia would be terrible for the fans. Tuchel would seem a risk in a new league while still in the knockout stages of CL. Lucho would have similar tactics to Berizzo & intensity, but I am skeptical he'd walk into that situation after the treatment of Toto

Juande Ramos or Caparrós

First league loss of the season for Atletico away at Espanyol.

Barcelona and City are the only 2 undefeated teams in the top 5 leagues now.

In case there was any doubt of Zidane's opinion, Ceballos will not even be on the bench.
I am not so optimistic but I will trust @Arbitrium prediction. We win 4-1.
Tebas has to be very desperate to play el clásico at 1 o'clock.
Is there a website to watch the game a few hours later without spoilers?

City lost in CL, 1-2 to Shaktar, only Barca is undefeated

Would be ecstatic with a draw tomorrow, I think that would be enough for Barca to win the league.

If you're counting all competitions than Barca lost twice already.

So, what do we do with Ceballos now?

Nope season didn’t officially start till the first day of La Liga if we are being technical about it.

So yeah as of this second, Barca is the only undefeated team in Europe

Dude how long have you been following La Liga? Super Cup has ALWAYS been considered a preseason tournament.

Man City lost in CL which is still going on. Not sure what’s so hard to understand here.

Not when it's a Clasico. Which is why barcelona was in full meltdown after it.

And regardless of whether clubs and fans care about it or not, it's still an official competition and part of the season

PS it's 21 years now of truly following it

BS, it’s preseason regardless of who plays. Everywhere you look it’s seen as Barca is undefeated. And what meltdown was there? Barca went on to never lose again (and yes, good chance it could change today) while Madrid has their worst start to La Liga in over a decade.

No, it's seen as barca is undefeated in the league. Not in all competitions. Even Sport and MD don't consider them unbeaten in the season

I had no idea what Ceballos was thinking in the summer. While I can understand someone preffering Real Madrid to Barcelona or vice versa depending on fan allegiance, one look at the respective squads should've been enough to make him reconsider.

Probably the best central midfield pairing of recent years in Modrić-Kroos, and then Kovačić and also Isco who ocassionaly also played in that position. On the other hand Barcelona has aging Iniesta, declining Rakitić, Paulinho, and Roberto (who spends half the time at RB anyway). Just crazy, I have no clue what was he expecting.

Nailed on draw.

Possible Real XI: Navas; Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Marcelo; Casemiro; Modric, Kroos; Isco; Benzema, Ronaldo

Barça: Ter Stegen; Roberto, Piqué, Vermaelen, Alba; Busquets; Iniesta; Paulinho; Messi, Suarez

As for injuries, Ronaldo had a knock and only trained once during the week. It was probably just precautionary but Bale will only be coming in from the bench. Umtiti is the biggest loss for this game and I’m not sure if Dembele is ready to return or not.

I think 1-1 is the most likely result and Barca would be delighted with that.

Thank god, this El-Clasico doesn't quite overlap with Man City-Bournemouth match. Barcelona fans here would've had a tough decision to decide which match to watch.

True. You'd think the Clasico won't have lots of empty seats though.

Yeah, because of the people in Asia.
Feck them.

I needed to know for my own sake so thanks. Turned the alarm on so I won't forget.

Edit: See? The whole of europe will now forget about the game because of Asia. Well except for me who have no set the alarm.
